ThePunter, as I understand it the II's have to sell shareholding if the price exceeds set profits, that would reduce their holding. My speculation is that they would want to hold onto as large a share holding as possible in order to benefit if there was a trade sale at some multiple of current share price. I think its a careful management of share price to keep it within a set range prior to trade sale announcement. Conspiracy, educated guess, cynicism, all of the above, probably. Happy to see what happens but Botton line is the late reporting is fuzzing the daily visibility.
