Russia played a blinder? again your pov. For me putin has put Russia back economically in the dark ages and is trying to save face……he can’t afford this war to go on for many more months. Given time Europe, many others are starting to wean themselves off fossil fuels, that’s inevitable.

I saw that Liz Truss said UK sanctions on Russia would cease if Russia pulled back. For me, even if they do pull back and all is resolved, sanctions should remain indefinitely or a couple of years. It will take years for Ukraine to rebuild back property, economically etc.

Some may not like what I say there but if we did pull back sanction/ upon a resolution, for me putin will think “great”, slap on the wrist, who else can we invade.

Just a thought but wouldn’t any RNS be released when both markets bhl trade on are both open? OTC opens at 2.30pm (I think). So I would assume it would be released at that time.

Are Russia looking for a resolution because they are running out of cash and have lost military asset? Even if peace is achieved which is what everyone else wants, surely no country will lift sanctions on Russia until they are either begging or back in the dark ages?

As we all hope, a peaceful resolution I hope can be achieved. Sanctions will be around for a while and when they do affect the masses in Russia I wonder how much support Putin.

Probably a lot as it’s rigged by him anyway but I hope they will realise he’s ruined the outlook for Russia for years to come and turf him out.
