I’m sure I’ll be corrected but perhaps the BOD have never been involved with such a potentially massive deal so had to appoint someone with some better experience. Plus reading the RNS it mentions he’s been in Hydrogen initiatives so as well as trying to get the deal over the line, he may be there for EUA2 which is all about hydrogen.

Jarv - if the company was suspended how would short close? Those of us hold shares couldnt do anything unless shorts have special privileges?

I’m sure we all were expecting more than this:

So why did you suspend it the first place for?? Clearly this will spook people but hey, still in the game.

Now, I don't profess to know as much as many of you about EUA and i've only been in EUA for c2 years, but for what it is worth.

1. Like many, i'm in until the end, if its good, not so good or plain ugly i'm going nowhere!
2. Even if i wanted to sell, we cannot, so if this RNS is bad, yes we are going to feel it when trading resumes and the shorter will laugh, on the flip side if the pending RNS is due to sale of assets then superb!
3. If a deal was off, we go alone and reap all the resources for ourselves. A lot more risk, more capex, will take more time but ultimately for me, people will still need what EUA has - i appreciate that many of us want this done now!
4. We can all speculate with whats going on, but we have probably all fallen foul of this before - so sit back and wait.
5. Only concern is that crazy loon in charge of Russia at the moment and he could really Fcuk it up for all of us.

I'm sure that we all go into a stock knowing the risk and can afford (although not nice) to lose what we have put in.

What fine if any will the FCA impose?

I’m sure I read that if it’s significant fine Amigo will be forced to go with the wind down option.

It will be those same customers commenting on FB who may need a loan in the future and with one less player in the business they probably have to go to a loan shark or alternatives.

Like many have commented, it would be absolute madness if the vote was to have less redress money and to wind down the company so it’s a no brainer that the vote will go the right way.

And again it would be I hope madness for the court not to approve the scheme…..with a recession coming and high inflation, what judge will want to cause the collapse and loss of jobs.

The sticking point with option one is the timeframe but more importantly if the FCA allows to lend again and hopefully they won’t impose a fine - I’m sure I’ve read a significant fine would cause the company to wind down.
