Here is my take on the major projects debacle. Now and again managers of certain large projects will over egg the progress of their projects in order to meet their targets etc and the two main characters , ceo and cfo don't seem to have epc experience or indeed oil and gas project experience. The new cfo has been challenged by the auditors and clearly is unable to defend/explain what he has been presented with and has had to bring in deloittes to provide a credible response. So imv the sp is pricing in the worse possible outcome and there we will sit until someone with credibility makes an announcement.
