If we have run up to £4 plus already, a fall might be on the cards but with current cash flows, the sp is discounting some really average results imv.

Travesties, you are correct that the Tories did a lot of damage to this country but they didn't do austerity - they did the opposite they spent money like drunken sailors pushing up our national debt . The damage was to import lots of people, putting strain on housing, the NHS, the legal system, roads, sewage system etc , hoping that the 'extra ' GDP would make the borrowing sustainable - but it isn't and the debt markets told Liz Truss and are telling Reeves, get a grip. Unfortunately much of what labour is doing is accelerating our decline by allowing more immigration, more net zero and less industry and farming.

Amazed people are so short term. In essence the aussies want us in the UK to give up hope, sell up and leave the shares for them to buy at bargain prices. This will be over £4 soon imv. Patience is required.

The dividend is to be increased by an 'adjusted' 6%. That means we will get the same divi as last time plus 6%, but spread over a larger number of shares. I shall be taking up my full rights as the yield is great AND prospects great too , imho.

Rocka, your post sounds spiteful. Firstly, the numbers might be confidential and secondly how you can suggest that the numbers of installations will be minimal is ridiculous. Time will tell.

@Gary, I believe Yes, until the shares are marked as XR [ ex rights] they are included in the price. If you ring your broker or indeed any broker they will confirm. Also the timetable should be in the RNS .

Badland, we moved into rented and put our proceeds in the bank while seeking the next house , using the interest to pay our rent- my tax bill last year £38k and I am an effing pensioner . Might start looking overseas....

@Candid, your role as messenger does not warrant being shot but I do find your attitude to BT engineers, plumbers and electricians quite repulsive. These guys do 'real work' and they carry the non productive white collar bureaucrats that ride on the backs of 'real workers' in ever greater numbers. Please think it through , journalists at BBC and pen pushers across the public sectors paid 10x the money of white van man = outrageous . Full disclosure I have managed thousands of 'blue collar' workers but never been one myself.

Has anyone else complained to Barclays about their poor performance last week and made any progress? I got a call from their team today andn was effectively told to eff off. It might have taken them until mid morning Thursday to sort the consolidation out, while IG index only took until mid morning Monday but that is just my tough luck they said, and if you don't like it complain to the FCA.

My guess is that a shareholder has complained to the FCA that the company has misled investors during the period under investigation, i.e the BOD knew there were serious accounting issues but did not release the info to the market in a timely manner. This is bad news for the directors who may get sanctioned , if my guess were to be correct but also us shareholders as it will be more cost, more uncertainity and make us a less attractive target to bidders.

John Gunn has taken Octagonal private and he seems to be shafting the minority shareholders . He should be banned as a director imv.
