I think it is more insidious than just raising cash , to waste, the government don't want us to own anything , so we all become servants of the state. The underpinning aspect of our voting system is people who have wealth, or aspire to have wealth ,vote for the right whilst those who want to free ride off others vote left. Take away our houses over the next generation and let the likes of Blackrock build up their portfolios , and pay no IHT and bingo - more votes for the left.

So , we now have a series of doom and gloom posts from people who wanted the short term gains , experienced in the run up to the much heralded ASX listing, to continue. At some point that was going to stop nad frankly our CEO has reset expectations rather brutally and most likely to suit himself over the medium term. Now is not the time to sell imv, if investors can sit it out for a few months as fundamentally gold still looks strong .

Why would anyone Riot. The CEO has done more to kill off oil production in the UK than any of these protestors. His track record of wrecking projects is unrivalled and has produced next to zero oil for £billions spent - he is on theri side imho.

Great results out today - for me the eps growth is important when there are buy backs and divis . Will the market like the results?

Of course it was wrong but, considering inflation has been above target by CPI [ inflation rate for homeless people] measure for over 4 years and the rate has been cut 4 times already , why not? The government wants to inflate awy its debt by robbing savers of value.Hence the popularity of bitcoin. With RPI at 4.3 %, that is the measure for people with housing costs it is outrageous that rates were cut.

We rent a crummy house value around £1.4m [ my estimate] and it is Band H , the highest and we pay £5k per annum. There are band D houses on the market for that amount.

Something needs to happen but once again it will be the better off who pay and MP's will of course reclaim theirs.

If we were valued on 15X our defence sales like EOS the sp would at least trebble!

I would look at a spread betting firm such as IGG or PLUS - because the recent crazy market moves will drive their sps. If they don't take your fancy and you rae happy with a bit more risk - Serabi gold [miner] of MSI - miniconglomerate including anti drone. For recovery JD sports . DYOR.

I bought more at 80.2 as with these larger companies the SP takes some time to move. I am hoping the USA likes the RNS today and we get a further lift when then roll out of bed.

I think the government has told the FCA to come up with a scheme that grabs the £10 bn provision the banks have made and sends it out into the economy. The consultation period will allow them to complete the modelling to ensure it is at least that figure.

I also think there is not a single person who has to buy a car, who does not know what they are paying for it and cannot go elsewhere if they don't like the deal on offer. WTF has this country come to - we certainly could'nt fight them on the beaches - these days we welcome them with a blanket and a hot drink - but that's another story. Who would invest here now?

I seem to get mine a week later after everyone else. Nothing so far and I have had zero one month with £50k holding . Overall 3 -4% this year.

@KVMC, funny you should show the buy lower than the sell but I did just that - 3 tranches of 200 shares until they put the prices back to normal. Thought I was gpoing to be there all day doing it!

@Motbuck - I could'nt agree more .the government seems to have encouraged the claim culture in this country [ could it be because many of them are lawyers?] what with the PPI malarky, the immigration lawyer industry and claims against every possible organisation for injuries. People should accept life has risk and take responsibility for them selves and shut the sector down.
