I thought todays figures were mediocre at best - but the sp rises. I thought IAG's were excellent and the sp falls. No accounting for other investors views it sems.

I added again at 235p and so should everyone who thinks it has dropped too far. If we are correct we will make a killing. simple. If not well hats off to the sellers at this price.

STP, To say people who bought cars on finance were living beyond their means ignores people like myself who decided the 2.75% interest vailable from MINI was lower than the returns I could get on the cash at that time if invested. Your political views at times are as idiotic as your point about finance.

@Asimple- your views on the effects of immigration look correct to me, however your views on the 'job creation' of net zero , misses the point. We could create thousands of jobs if we developed the north sea oil and gas fields instead of offshore wind. The fact that we need more jobs to create the same energy output from windfarms is a poor arguement. Its like suggesting we go back to milling grain with windmills as that will create more jobs than we have in current electric mills , or we abandon farm machinery and plant and harvest by hand as that creates more jobs. The jobs that come from net zero work are mostly a consequence of less efficiency which drives higher costs and makes the economy less efficient , losing manufacturing jobs elsewhere.

I am watching IG TV on you tube just now - live show and a guest, Tom Price explained the long term bull factors he seees for Gold - interesting and worth watching imv. However the nugget for me is that he sees China as buying more and more into the future so they can off a reserve currency to the world. All very positive obviously.

Results poor and outlook poor , sp movement will be poor , like the UK inhabitants

Results look poor to me - eps well down - only saviour was a rising market imv. Hopefully the market will like the rise in AUM.

@GMW - BHP pay over 6% divi. I am not invested there but the point I am making is investors see better opportunities elsewhere in the sector. I also think there is an element of taking out stop losses and extracting shares from private investors - and that is another factor.

My view is that the market thinks our cash flows are all earmarked for future Capex , meaning it will be a few years [ 5?] before there is talk of divis , which means there are better pickings elsewhere in the mining sector, i.e companies with track records of great pay outs. So , whilst I am hugely impressed others are more sceptical.

WRT uk politics- there is an excellent video where Dominic Cummings exposes the whole myth of cabinet meetings, which are in essence scripted for ministers and the chair. So in effect the country is mainly run by the civil service, which is why so little changes [ e.g our stance on Israel/Palestine] whoever runs the country . Same wrt the on line safety bill. However we will be offered real change at the next election because from the left we will have Corbyn and from the right , Reform to choose. Unless of curse the established media manage to sink them so we get a choice between the uni party[blue] or the uniparty[red] both of whom want control and our money and the same failing policies as devised by the civil service.

@ECKIE, this is a diviv stock which yields around 8% , even with no capital gain, that is a great return for a low risk company. If you want a higher return , invest in higher risk stocks , or crypto or a horse race or a lottery ticket . Lots of options.

@Sexy - the MMs are marking it down because they need to gather shares ready for the next positive RNS, which will surely come. They will then sell those at a profit into the market. I have just topped up at 59.2 ready to join their game and on their side!

I sense the dual listing exagerates sentiment and therefore price action. We look at ASX close and they look at our close ,which exagerates up and down movement. Each market trying to second guess the other. Once that 'paranoia' subsides , we will hopefully resume a steady sp climb in line with the cash balance in the bank.

Bought another £3k at 248p - bargain - will be back up to atleast 280p today imv

Can anyone explain the pro's and con's of ceres vs ITM? Are they after different markets or competitors? I am invested in ITM but not ceres , yet!

Ice- ref the board being replaced - 3 non execs have gone already and given they were taking money on false pretences they should be sued and/or banned from holding UK directorshipos after what happened on their watch.
