I have said in previous posts I expected Mid-October for the contract to drop - that was before the last update.

I have to say I think it will be longer now, as the MPS/GPHA dispute continues according to last week's newspaper articles. There is no way I am selling any at this stage though as the contract could drop out of the blue.

I will hold for now, but buy more if it drops.

It’s confusing. MPS have a contract agreed by the Ghanaian parliament. That was the basis on which they invested $1.5B. They are seemingly operating the port as per that contract. If this was the UK or US they would tell GPHA to p*ss off and see them in the courts. In the meantime it seems MPS don’t want to make their new contracts with subcontractors (us) public. I just hope this doesn’t take months to get sorted...

Forget Iran. Who in their right mind would go and work there at the moment...

So the Ghanaian parliament agreed to a PFI type arrangement with MPS who in turn invested $1.5B building a 21st century port. The mechanisation has presumably displaced the many manual labourers, as happens as any country develops. It also seems MPS have been handed some additional business to reduce corruption.

The unions are left mourning the good old days, and request a charitable donation of 20% of all business to continue their inefficient and possibly corrupt practices. Furthermore they issue veiled threats of violence in their press release if they don’t receive what they want.

Well, let’s hope El Presidente sees through all of this and puts an end to it...

I’ve lost track of this. Are there any anticipated timescales? Is it’s sole purpose to look in to and settle the MPS/GPHA/Union dispute?

Where was the investigation in to all of Hilary Clinton's associates when accusations were levelled against her (and she destroyed evidence)?

On both sides of the Atlantic national institutions have lost their impartiality.

I fail to see the difference between the Dems looking for every scrap of dirt on Trump, and Trump looking for every scrap of dirt on Biden. Exactly the same behaviour from both sides, and the Dems were the ones who raised the stakes in the first place with the Russian nonsense.

Looks like a stake is being quietly accumulated/increased. Check out the afternoon’s trades. Furthermore there was a buy trade of £640k yesterday. These large trades have gone on for 2 or 3 weeks now. A holdings RNS must be due.
