I think it is disingenuous to suggest that once funding is place the company would have to raise more money for day to day running of the company.

Where I do agree is that the promise of a Q1 2025 preliminary funding announcement seems a little weak or not dissimilar to what has been promised 1-2 years ago. Are we going to get anything other than 'discussions are progressing', or will there be a firmer commitment - something even slightly more tangible like an MOU or exclusivity agreement? Grateful for others interpretation of the company's statement.

I do believe this is the final roll of the dice for Asiamet - the Directors do seem confident thought. Either a substantial re-rate or company failure awaits in 2025 IMO. The former let's hope...

Only thing I can think of is if you wanted to try to buy a big chunk without pushing the price up. Not sure there have been many investors queuing up to do this though.

This has not been a bad day in my mind. The dilution is not huge, and it is stated this will carry us through to funding now. Whether or not that is true, and whether or not funding is achieved remains to be seen.

Any new potential investors, what better time to have a punt.

Commiserations to all still trapped in this. I sold out for a hefty loss when they announced their move in to silver mining (or whatever it was). It was clear sign that Mahenge was going nowhere. If anyone has the time and energy, I think you would have a good case against the directors and even the NOMAD. Perhaps look for a no win/no claim lawyer to take it on. They never ran the company like a publicly listed company (their AGM was a sham for starters), key announcements were dishonest or based on incompetence and they failed to correct them in a timely fashion, they ignored emails from investors seeking clarification (I have plenty of evidence). I believe they failed to release market sensitive information which would have explained why they went from being so bullish to complete silence for 2 years. My hunch is that they upset someone at ministry level and were blacklisted, but it’s just a hunch. If anyone does try to sue the directors get in touch, but I don’t have the time to lead on it myself.

This project has been dreaming of five dollar copper for years. Now we have it, the Board have to make something of it. Really is time to get it away in one form or another - company sale at minimum 4p would be my preference.

I think the environment has changed for mining juniors as well. They’ve made plenty of mistakes too, but hindsight is a fine thing.

£100m must be a minimum sale price for the company and they’ll be trying for more.

DOID hold less than 40%. If a decent offer comes in, the 60% holders will accept.

I would accept 4p as a get out of jail and move on with life bid. 6p and above would bring some satisfaction - albeit a painful satisfaction for the years of disappointment holders have been put through.

So they don’t own 66%. Therefore they don’t control the company. I think the company realise it’s time to sell before there is nothing left. Fingers crossed they are successful.

Net asset value is relevant if they are selling to a bigger player. Which I hope they are.

All those years of planning to get to the point of building the mine, and it was a massive fcuk up. Monumental, unforgivable, incompetent, shameful fcuk up. You shouldn’t be able to get it this wrong and be allowed to be a director of a public listed company ever again.
