Quick online research; looks like shareholders need to hold at least 5% (combined) to call an EGM (reduced from 10% in 2009). Any 1%+ shareholders here?

MB is terrible in interviews. I suspect that is why he steers clear of them. So why doesn’t he send his Chairman instead. Between them, there must be someone capable of doing some publicity. What is it with these clowns...

AIM - company have always said they expect to give offtake and finance updates in the near future (11 months ago they said that - look at the announcement). They have never said it is dependent on other factors falling in to place. If they are waiting on the Tanz government, why not make that clear?

I am close to filing complaints with the FCA

It’s painful across the whole junior miner sector at the moment. The problem is that ARS should have been at 6p before this downturn, but due to their various ****-ups, the SP was 2.8p

It doesn’t surprise me that Tanz are not issuing the new exploration licences. They probably want to see that ACP are actually capable of developing a mine before issuing more exploration licenses to them.

All of this is speculation of course, but what else can investors do when the company ignore all attempts at contact. Speculation fills the void...

I suspect either the Chinese are trying to screw them, so they are making no progress with offtake/financing, or they have been told the project is too small hence why they applied for the new exploration licences. Or a mix of the two.

The silence is an insult, and something companies can only get away with for so long before SP starts to dive. We are now deep in the diving phase...

Junior mining sector has been a nightmare these last two or three months, but it does now seem we’re at the bottom. My concern though is that the market caps of many of these junior miners are so pitiful that it will affect their ability to finance mine production. Quite what is going on behind the scenes at Armadale, who knows. I suspect the offers they have had so far shaft them, and so they are still looking around. They don’t want to report bad news, so they report nothing. I continue to hold. Hoping for a happy ending.

It’s a combo of the two. Share price has entered this phase from a low base because of the management failures. Deal should have been done months ago.

Not sure how someone knows there is a big RNS coming next week. Probably a bit of chat room bullsh*t but who knows... I’ll still be holding either way.

In the early days TM used to reply to investors’ emails, but since the company’s SP decline he seems to have given up on that.

Please do share any reply if you get one. Likewise, I don’t know what’s going on now...

So they have completed DD, but not paid the first $10mil - so original deal is dead?

Either DOID now trying to renegotiate the deal, or will try to buy it outright?

I note the exclusivity period is over. Does this also mean the restriction on DOID buying more ARS stock is over?

Or issue a correction to the RNS released two years ago that described offtake agreement discussions as ‘well advanced’ or words to that effect. Complete Bull!

Was there no Q&A at the AGM today?

The problem with ‘MB isn’t going to give it away cheap’, is that if the financing takes forever, the SP steadily degrades in the interim which is what we are seeing currently.

There have been no meaningful updates on financing in the last 12 months despite being assured the the process is at an ‘advanced stage’. At some point that is going to have to be called out as a lie.

I think this deal will go through, hopefully on the agreed terms rather than with some last minute unfavourable alteration

Beware terminology such as ‘largely complete’ from this company. We need to hear when it is complete, not ‘largely complete’.

Don’t know who is to blame for the non-progress, but it’s not good.

I’ve taken a back seat with my shares in recent months and waited for news rather than clasping to snippets on BBs. But after months of patient waiting, absolutely nothing seems to be happening with Asiamet. What on earth has happened to the deal? Where is the first 10mil?? Absolutely hopeless...
