So Crusty, whilst Art is asking why bother investing in Tanzania, it would seem the tiddlers like Aminex get trodden on by TPDC etc. That very much confirms going it alone, Aminex was doomed. I'm not trying to ressurrect the Transaction EGM issue, but trying to establish why others like Wentworth have apparently trouble free payments. If Wentworth can make it work, surely Aminex backed by Zubair have the necessary clout. With that accepted, we just need Licence approval.......

Mick 2020 had a poke at me over on their chat forum so I responded as follows (the last exchange for sure).

How many times have you said Aminex are going Bust ? Iv'e lost count . But if our Farm Out is approved I hope you will reciprocate with a suitable apology.

I agree Crusty, it's been a hard and worrying day for us all.
I'm right behind Ambrose on this.

It's simple and very obvious Crusty - Government dominating intransigence. Of course, the last thing we would ever want to consider is the brown envelope way which I'm sure it is not, hence Wentworth are under the same control as us which Ambrose has been brave enough to challenge.

Talk of blasphemy over on Wentworth. More and more I get the feeling they are in the same boat as us and we are doing them a great big service !

Let's hope the opposition wake up to the can of worms and start pressing MrM for answers.

Was the BOD's reasoning of fixing the 15th date that at the end of the month they could be facing a new set of Ministers with different views ? Well the current regime now have the hot potato in their lap. No passing the parcel, then again...

Basically telling the Omani's to get stuffed ! Let's hope the Tanzanian opposition parties are on to it. Strangely quiet at Wentworth.

We both have our views about Brian Hall agreed. What is abundantly clear if we had followed the path of not accepting the terms of the Transaction as you promoted, we would have been in the deepest of water. BH held on to our acreage through thick and thin and they are the prize Zubair value. I give greatest of credit to Brian Hall for that, and so should you. No, I am not he as you surmise !

more, and more so that those of you who thought that AEX could go it alone and reject Brian Hall's 'Transaction' with Zubair and the Omani's, had got it well wrong. Fair enough, time will tell if Ambrose is honorable and true to his word that for Aminex the prize will be 'huge', but if events go the way that I guess they will, we should one day in someway, recognise what a great CEO/Chairman Brian Hall was.

More and more the Ugandan pipe line makes sense. The fact of the Omani's huge wealth and the twopence happeny domestic needs simply don't fit with Ambrose's answer of 'Huge' when asked what this all means for little old Aminex !
