There is another opinion. Over on the Wentworth forum, in response to a polite promotion of AEX by our Chris P, Mick 2020 says he doesn't expect anything to happen here in the next few months or even before we get the Licence extension again. When the news we expect arrives, it may well be there could be a bit of an exodus.

It certainly is looking as though Dunder possibly Crusty did not understand the full implications of the deal. Crusty campaigned to get the 'Transaction' thrown out and carried many others with him as we know. Anyway, having panned the deal for sure, when did Crusty change his mind, decide to bury his objections and buy in with several million shares ?

Why is it I still remain optimistic ? Zubair are here because of our acreage and it's potential. There's more than enough gas for the country's domestic needs so with Uganda expressing their willingness to take our gas is that the long term prize Zubair have in their sights ? Many others here have said government therefore would not wish to kick the Omani's in the teeth with their wealth a huge factor in all this. With what seems to be bottomless reserves of gas, government must surely realise there is future untapped revenue waiting to be exploited and the Omani's I hope are there to help.

Not an oil & gas expert like so many of you, can anyone explain to me that with a good part of the year powered by Hydro, Wentworth chipping in from their wells, when is it reasonably expected we will have gas to sell ?

It looks like that loan carries a 13% interest rate. Is that fair in current circumstances ?

I've been told that the old $3.6m debt owed to us by TPDC was legit and probably written off in the accounts to ease the road to farm out. Assuming nobody told TPDC that fact, a claim could be renewed. Together with the CGT and Zubairs costs, I guess there's a tidy bill facing government in the worst case scenario. Anyone like to make a stab at the final bill ?
