I'd like to hope the appointment of the Sultan Al-Ghaithi is a good move. Can you imagine the Sultan sitting down with TPDC and asking them simply, do you want us to invest in your country's O&G industry, or not ? If such a meeting happens, I guess approvals will suddenly open up big time. This is why those investors that thought way back we could go it alone were mistaken. We now have some considerable clout.

Meanwhile, nothing from Frank and his merry bunch of telegram people, trading away trying to earn an extra crust from the aminex saga. They suffer risks of course but for me, they are an anathama. I am a truly devoted LTH mug, hoping for a discovery like no other to come in my lifetime.

I decided to fire off an actual, old fashioned letter to Smith Square for messrs Santos, Mackay and Lansdell on a stick and carrot basis, praise for concluding the Farm-out and prudence shown running the company's affairs. Mentioned how our fortunes have changed for the better with the end of the previous government regime but any delay to the programme going forward could set back shareholder value. Instead, proposed shareholder fillip to get some positive news about cash/debt recovery, 3D seismic start up or possible future rig contracts. Don't expect a reply but only hope we get thrown a few crumbs of comfort by the BOD on Friday. Is anyone getting the meeting live and if so, could they update kindly update us with the news ? Grateful if possible.

Does anyone else agree we would have much more clout if as many Shareholders as possible come together sending one letter with questions for the AGM Agenda ? Any questions from individuals in that way should not be ignored/overlooked as I know can happen. I'm not necessarily the right person to take this forward but would want my issue about spending too much on the 3D seismic to be included. Frank once took something over along these lines last time. Could he or anyone else be willing to do do it again ? In the first place, please tick this message up if you feel the idea has merit. Thanks

So, we can ask questions by way of letters to the BOD I suppose for an Agenda.
Would it be best that rather than doing letters individually, we agree on just a few, agreed by us all.
My main concern is whether or not the cost of the 3D seismic exploration will overun reducing the monies available to drill.
I hope you all agree, we need to avoid a Placing.

Frank, you will have almost certainly guessed, I am an AEX plc , long term holder. You have been completely open about your day trading in Aminex amazingly declaring to everyone your weekly p&l figures ! At the moment, the AEX SP is a akin to a Yo Yo. There's no stability at all. Could it be you have innocently encouraged many of your telegram members to follow in your footsteps ? I should add add that I am absolutely aware and accept no one body can fight against the free market but when we shortly start to get significant news on the Licence, 3D seismic etc, will the value of Aminex see the expected rise with so many day traders in your midst, probably more interested in a fast buck rather than long term Aminex success ?

Will one of you clever investors tell me in simple terms, how would or could we have raised the cost of the free carry we have today ? With such a bad deal as you say it is, why did most of you invest in more shares since approval !?! Yes Grass. As far as I can see, there is hardly a dot or a comma difference from Brian Halls original proposal and bewildering as to why he took so much unfair flak at the EGM for approval.

Way, way back in the early AEX drilling days we kept the interest going by tracking the movements of the Rig.

Well I'm no expert such as Crusty but I'm with you Grss, there's a sense of optimism in Tanzania right now. At one time there was talk of the Zubs walking away, a worry I feel is fading away. Anyway if they did, they would hand back the Licence to us I hope, and someone sensible with operating capability buys out the Zubs for minmal cost. raises some money in the market, forgets the 3D and drills Chikumbi-1 well. Boom.

Alca P - For what it's worth I have been a continous AEX shareholder somewhile before we were paid the one and only Aminex dividend ! I also was the proud possessor of warrants, later to become worthless warrants. All is not set fair with Mick2020. If you take a look, he is not singing from the same song sheet as their lady CEO. For us, our new lady President offers a glimmer of hope down that long, long tunnel we are all trudging and cant believe any approvals will be refused ARA pretty certain to be conducting the 3D seismic and that RNS should be the next spike.
