RE: It’s a new dawn it’s a new day for ECR Minerals suggest @TMSreach21 Sep 2023 08:28
So the new board is reviewing the company with a view to setting it up for the future.
Here's what I would do:
TAMBO: Keep it - very early stage so can just spend the minimum amount and progress it slowly on the back burner at this time and assess its viability at a future time. It's not a big financial/time drain.
BAILLIESTON: Sell. There have been sporadic good results there and most of the gold bearing structures seem to be at depth. There is value there, but the cost and timeline of exploration is not a compelling case for ECR. Get some cash and future royalties.
CRESWICK :Keep, but set up for a JV.
Due to the size and geology of Creswick it will cost a lot for an extensive drilling programme so I would not drill there at this point. Spend the next 6 months expanding the data set as much as possible with as much grid sampling, lidar and other resource defining activity over as much of the DMS as possible so a prospective JV partner will have enough confidence to offer a deal giving ECR a free ride on exploration With say a 20% stake. A bigger partner can hen do all the extensive drilling/exploration and ECR can focus on Queensland.
RIGS: sell or hire out one and get the other up to Queensland.
PROPERTY :sell
ITAGON : sell(don't hold your breath)
LOLWORTH : This is where we should be focusing the effort...potential company maker. Get thd drill turning here and prove up both the gold and REEs asap
HURRICANE: keep. This may de drilled first if they are confident that the first reef will show commerciality. Would be a quick win for ECR and the SP.
BLUE MOUNTAIN: ? I literally have no idea or opinion on the potential here.
Just my initial opinions, we will see what happens following the review.
