Nice to see gold @ $2007 this morning.
Sells outweighing buys today by quite some way...Will be interesting to see if there is someone hoovering these up in the background as the SP has not shifted.

Agreed Gino, The Bailieston results and drilling programme could double the SP from where we are now if they are positive , but no more unless they are outstanding (or they tripped over a nugget the size of a briefcase).

The JV is where the big multi-bag potential lies in ECR in the near/mid term.
Personally I think that we are just looking at a Creswick JV this year, and you say it's not coming in August (which is also my belief as my bet is September) , but we only have hunches on when that will drop so it could land any time.
Being a small company negotiations do not leak and we do not know how far negotiations have gone, but we do know that DD was being done 4 or 5 months ago by some parties and at least one was presenting to ECR last month on Creswick so one day we will wake up to that shiny red dot, could be tomorrow, could be next year.

Personally hope we get north of 3p before the next RNS (be it JV or exploration results & drilling programme).
ECR is undervalued at the moment and 3-4p is probably fair value for the licenses we hold without a drilling programme or JV.
Happy to see a steady 5-10% daily rise under the radar.

The £15.8 trade was a bed and ISA (second trade reported this morning).
Smart move and recommend moving your holding to an ISA so Mr Taxman doesn't take a chunk when this rises.

The £18k was the last of warrant sells from yesterday.

Hi Gino, My personal belief is that we will get a JV by the end of September with a drilling programme for Creswick following very hot on the heals of that and potentially the first set of Creswick drilling results by the end of the year.
Bailieston drilling will be up and running before October and results flowing this year.

Hopefully both licenses will look like swiss cheese next year :-)

Craig Brown stated that Covid had no effected Creswick/Bailieston.
Creswick is the jewel in the crown (and we still have that). The two licenses sold had resource at depth which would have been too expensive for ECR to prove up.
Next news is due in August (so any time now)

To be honest the £30m required to fully prove up Creswick will be chump change for a major like Newmont and if Craig's $6bn estimate is correct and the price keeps on rising that will soon become $8bn, $9bn...….
If they believe those figures are even in the ballpark then no-one is going to pass on those potential profits.

But with cash in the bank they know we are not reliant on a deal to survive.
We also know that Creswick in in the heart of a very desirable area.
Plus with 4 parties interested they know only the best offer will be accepted...and they've seen from Bailieston that Craig will not take a deal that he does not believe will be of good value.
All puts us in a good negotiating position.

The upside of the block listing RNS last week is that we won't get another RNS every time a warrant is exercised.
The downside is that we cannot see when they are exercised or will know how many are left until the next annual report.

Also I agree with all the other posts on here that we are following the GGP runway.

Hi Gino, I really should be asking you the same questions as you are a long term holder and been watching this for a number of years.
I think we will get the ground explorations results along with a drilling programme which I think will accompany it or follow shortly after and concentrate on the Blue Moon, Cherry Tree and Cherry Tree South prospects.
We will not get a g/t measurement , but will get an indication of the structure and the potential resource.
It would be good if the resource is indicated at a shallower depth as that makes if more economically viable.
In a recent interview Craig Brown stated that there were hundreds of thousands of oz confirmed at Bailieston.
I don't know if this was a slight giveaway to the upcoming results, but if a major drilling programme is being planned you would expect the results o be favourable.

On the JV front....It could come today, it could come tomorrow, it could come in 3 months time.
We know that ECR have 4 potential partners, we know one is Newmont, we know one potential partner has already presented to ECR (CB interview) and that DD has been undertaken by at least a couple of the parties.
We do not know how advanced talks/ contracts are.
Anyone who claims they know when it will drop is talking BS.

All I know is that a Creswick JV with a major mining company will be an absolute game changer when it happens
