At least the placing stops the speculation of a placing for a while....and there is no negative reaction to the SP.
The new licenses adjacent to Blue Moon could be a major bonus, although that will depend on the three remaining drill results. Adam and co seem pretty confident of the 'continuation' in the 'ore body'
The initial samplings from Lolworth are encouraging and I'm sure we will have a better idea of what we potential have there once the full set of results are received ...and the 'potential source' soil sampling.
So not a disappointing month...yes we had the placing early (3 months earlier than I thought) , but with the extra drill we will have increased cash burn and don't want to take finances down to the wire...financial prudence by AH.

On the flipside Dan, you need to respect positive views and positive outlooks....works both ways.

Armani, you were right about the placing on the third time of asking after calling an immediate placing in both June and July...so we'll done you ( eventually you'd get one right)

The Lulworth results are the first 125 out of (I believe) around 400 so probably waiting until the full set is available before giving a presentation (nice nuggets from the panning seen yesterday).

Armani....If there is any evidence the ECR BOD contravening AIM rules regarding effectively insider trading with the placees ...I think you should report it as that's a vey serious accusation.

I've never said that anyone should be banned/prevented from posting here and in fact I like to read balanced views from posters with different opinions
You are the one stamping on any point of view that you don't agree with .

And as both long term investors (yes , I started here in the PJ years) we know hat there have been many highs, lows and frustrations over the years. Unfortunately that goes with the territory with small explorers.

The insistence you have that all the results are going to basically be worthless has little or no basis on fact...it's just an assumption that you have made.
Personally I'm just happy to wait and see what the results bring. They are due on 3 fronts and if any one (or more) are positive it can see the SP and sentiment shift positively quickly. ....perhaps even to you 1.7 target and beyond.

Time will tell.

Wow , there are a lot of people on one over the last 24 hours on here.

If the Directors were running this as a lifestyle company then there would be very little non-salary expenditures so that the cash lasts as long as possible.
ECR have invested in a second rig, been drilling pretty much non-stop , acquired the Lulworth license and brokered the Placer deal.....not an inactive lifestyle company by any stretch of the imagination.

Someone slated 'The optimistic posters' or as I like to call them , 'investors' .
If you have shares here and think that the shares will go down then quite frankly you are a fool to stay invested.
The same as if you are invested in a company in which you have no trust/faith in the BOD.
Or you continually bash a share you are invested in ......all idiotic moves.

the naysayers have cycled around the same negative cycle all year - placings (the herd got it right on the 4th time of asking this year) - lack of news (usually when there has not been an RNS in the last 48 hours) - lifestyle company (covered that already) - lack of skin in the game (even though they have been in a closed period since AH took over) - and 'look at all the negative sentiment'(which if you look back are generally confined to the same half a dozen posters).

All quite predictable and quite tiresome.

We have -
*Decent initial results at Lolworth...will get a fuller picture once we get the remaining results and the soil samples (from the source ?)
* Further Blue Moon drilling result due any time ...from the holes drilled nearer the original 2019 drilling and this should hopefully indicate the 'ore body'
* Creswick sampling results that should give a better indication on the extent of the potential resource there and provide some good drill targets there (the more info we have there , the more chance of another interested party approaching for a possible JV...10km is one hell of a strike length).
* Hurricane......let's see what the plan is to complete the DD in 2023
* 2nd drill deployment....get confirmation of when and where this will be deployed.
* possible further disposals, the remaining property and Itagon if a decent offer comes along.

So plenty coming down the pipe over the coming weeks/months

effectively is is a discount if we have good news on Blue Moon, Creswick & Lulworth in which case they could have waited a month and got a better price

Based on what you have written, I would guess that he is hoping to have results by Christmas.
And yes we are another day closer (less time to wait !)

Just read through the presentation again and a few points of note:
There are £1.7m of warrants that are exercisable (@1.125 if memory serves) so if SP gets to 2p+ you would expect a good chunk of those to be exercised delaying a further fund raise.
On slide 7 the final point on the slide is in different font....would suggest that they were intending to put an actual result there, but had to change it...imminent hole 2 results?
The Blue Moon drill result was from the most easterly hole . just on the edge of the anomaly.
The contested license is EL007537...still waiting for a decision :-(
Creswick soil sampling results due December 2022...& 'results due soon!' on 'untested systems' at Creswick.
Look at those visible gold grade at Lulworth !!! (slide 16)

I think you correct, those who want a position have already taken it...it's going to be 'nothing to se here' trading wise until the next set of results in the next RNS.
