Gino/Mental, Agree with you both....good to have the possibility of a JV bubbling in the background to drive volume, but at the same time we don't want one of the 'twitter hypers' getting the 20% herd involved for a false rise and subsequent drop.
With regards to attractiveness for a JV , as we get a better picture with sampling and drilling through the year it will garner more attention, make it more attractive and improve our bargaining position in any discussions. So the longer it takes, the potentially better it will be in the long term.
One thing we know is companies are always keeping an eye on the 'small boys' for JV opportunities....just got to hope the upcoming activity makes us stand out from the crowd at some point.

And on the Creswick front it will also be key to understand the extent of the parallel system....are we looking at DMS v2 or one of Adam's shoots?, How much has been previously explored/mined ?

All the recent RNSs are adding value and building the foundations for ECR moving forward.
We now have a continuous length of the DMS and extended Blue Moon ground to explore.
We just need the Blue Moon holes 2 & 3 results this month (hole 4 in Feb) and Creswick sampling results to re-enforce the value that these extensions bring.
The Creswick sampling needs to show some indication of continuity in resource as the 'nuggety' results have not been consistent (as you would expect). Nice to see a 'source' may be located in the new Creswick license.

The RNSs are linking and building the picture nicely and I feel that one or more of the upcoming Lolworth, Creswick and Blue Moon results may be triggers for the SP to step up (loaded spring? ;-).

Gino, My original post wasn't aggressive or accusatory and I would not have 'blamed' you for a smaller rise.
It was just a statement of fact that the company would prefer to release the news next week (which it looks like they will).
I have been invested in other companies where investors are thorough in their research and find information that forces a company to immediately release an RNS. If it had been released today it would have had minimal impact.

As I said in the original post , the new license is another piece of the puzzle.

As for ego...I'm guessing you have many mirrors in your house.

And yes there has been dilution. That's the reality for every small cap explorer...where else do you think that companies get funding for exploration...its not an ECR specific thing

Good to see holders being proactive in discovering new information.
Will be eager to see if the original interested JV party is still in play with the licenses approved...I think we got to c25-30,m mcap last time purely on JV rumour and none of the exciting Queensland licences

They probably wanted to wait until next week for maximum impact but Gino's post will likely force them to RNS tomorrow.

Have you seen the recent RNSs from the company?
Hurricane looks an excellent find,
Lolworth has good initial gold findings and the very exciting prospect of the rarer minerals (soil sampling results soon)
We also now have 10km of strike along the DMS awarded to ECR and we've found a parallel gold system.
And then we have the Blue Moon drilling results coming....having extended our BM holding with another new license.
Oh, and the second drill arriving in January.

So very excited shareholders and an excellent foundation built up in 2022 with the prospect of a company defining 2023...the year of ECR.

Must be a good news day....no Snip, Armani & Melville posts.

I certainly believe so...if this was released on a 'normal' trading day we would easily be 1.1+....the penny will drop (pun intended) in the new year.

ECR have four highly prospective gold areas (Creswick, Hurricane, Lolworth & Blue Moon) and now Lithium and other minerals in good concentration at Lolworth.

All for a mere £11m mcap....Could be a monster year for ECR in 2023

I stand corrected re the disputed/competitive license
It does sound like he is referring to EL006713 and not the disputed/competitive EL07537 adjacent to the Ballarat mine.

The other dozen or so points I made along with the 10km strike length are correct though.
Plenty to get on with on Blue Moon, Hurricane, Creswick and Lolworth while we wait for the Ballarat license application which will be sorted on ?????? ;-(

Initially moving the drill to Creswick and then looking to complete all the planning/license requirements to infill drill and get the inferred resource estimate at Blue Moon was my take.

Good interview and covered a number of bases ....shows the great multiple prospects we have !

Blue Moon -
Finishing off hole four now...seen good indicators/geology as expected. Extended 200m to west.
Looking to do diamond drill infill drilling (2019 drilling site)and get inferred resource there in 2023.
New License extends Blue Moon further to the west.

Creswick-
Latest results excellent and more results to come (now using local lab with 10-14 day turnaround) results should come in January of further samples.
Looking to move drill there in January to drill these additional shoots.
Searching for source of alluvial gold.

Record bookings is a positive.
The things that will shape the Sp over the coming year:
Cancellation rate : Will the cost of living crisis lead to a higher cancelation rate through 2023?
OBS : Accordingly with cost of living will the onboard spend per customer maintain at the current levels.
Fuel Costs : The impact of this cannot be underestimated...if prices fall it will be a positive
New ships: bookings are at a record level, but so is capacity . So is the occupancy % high and what will be the reaction to the 'pack em in' new big ships (will they repeat bbok with a Carnival brand?)
Record bookings: Is this record number , and if so has the price per passenger per night been maintained or have they had to sell some off cheaper/ been able to charge more.
How much is the debt repayment due in 2023?

Fuel charges will cripple profits along with the FCC that is being used in 2022 so not as much 'new money' coming in.
The length of the financial crisis will determine the bounce back for Carnival.

They've not got anything new to say at the moment.
I'd expect a nice set of PR/interviews once the complete picture is known of the initial Lolworth results.
Also when the Creswick soil sampling results and interpretations are in I would expect ECR to be beating the drum.
AH said that Victoria is a still the main focus at the moment for the company and I believe that he will be pushing to get Creswick as far along as possible with a view to seeking a JV and a free ride....get the partner to prove up a good chunk of the 10km and that frees up the drill to JORC Blue Moon (and the expanded license areas they now have) and hit the targets at Hurricane for the DD and to see what we actually have there...and see if AH confidence in the project is warranted.
I think a JV at Creswick is a main target for the company in the first half of 2023. We saw the impact on the SP last time a JV was rumoured to be close. The SP rise would help fund the other projects with less dilution, free up the drills and stop the company being stretched over as many good prospects. Once agreed Blue Moon would accelerate and Hurricane DD completed and the focus can switch to those two with the targeting for Lolworth progressing as resource allows and the initial Tambo investigations completed......should be a fun and defining year for ECR.
