Dreamboatwarrior, I believe that what you say applies to sale of entire business and not individual assets. If solgold were to be completely sold then tax would be on shareholders and not company. I think what Nick was talking about was sale of individual asset . I don't think the rollover applies to individual assets. Again this is all based on UK law things in other jurisdiction may vary.

I rather not say anything. It will give them (majors) ideas. So all I will say is once we get funding majors stand no chance and also will have another major in the name of Solgold as a competitor. So it is now or never for you majors including BHP. BHP make a friendly offer with BODs consent ( accounts on this board suggest NM ready for a bid) then there will be a counter bid and you are free to get aggressive.

Opulentia. Up to now solgold was my hope to recover my overall portfolio losses and more. Now it is the only hope I have for not being skint in my old age. There was Hype about previous MREs and nothing happened when announced. what makes you think this time will be different?

I like it Asperger 1. Even simpler bank pays 80% of the dividend and the claims it all in one go. Must go lots of pigs flying in my room lol. To be serious pensioners relying on dividends is a more likely point to tip the balance in favour of paying.

Directors would know what conditions and price of the placing would be. So if they are able to buy in the placing at below 40p. why exercise the options? If they exercise the option should we assume that either they are prevented from buying in the placing or the price is above 40p. OR OR they know bid above 40p. is on its way. Come on directors exercise the options so I can continue to dream on.

Surely that was not his intention as he himself has said that the share price is dangerously low- and that was before further recent drops. Not being as experienced as many of you I genuinely did not understand the thinking behind your post

What floor? There doesn't seem to be any floor as this continues to drop. Just looked and could not below it has dropped sub 16. I only hope that NM has long sleeves with something up it and is not sitting somewhere sunny in a T shirt. Stress of huge loss I am nursing on this feels much worse than the dreaded Corona.
