Not necessarily the outcome you suggest. If the company becomes desperate a cheap sale out may increase my loss when the final curtain falls. I am running that risk by hoping that the final curtain may at least reduce my loss by some premium on the current price .

LunchMoney, Your assumption that they will play their hand dos not appear to be shared by the market. otherwise the share price would not have dropped so much. especially when there is big pot of gold, silver and copper buried under the ground waiting to be exploited. Sorry but I have now lost all faith in positive stories about this company., however, against my better judgement, I continue to be invested in the hope that I will not have to stomach the large loss I am currently sitting on .

You are frightening me. I thought there was an internal candidate waiting to become CEO. What is he and/or the BOD directors doing. surely there must be regular Board meeting where ongoing crucial issues are discussed

as you say redknight1 if there was a bid being discussed the BOD would have to announce the approach of a bid. So no bid which leaves JV discussion or shares issue. may be the market is expecting a heavily discounted shares issue hence the price drop. may be that ,may be this, may be the other - right now the only question in my mind is " is there a floor to this drop?"

Has it really removed the blockage. NM continues till March and thereafter as NED so still a back seat driver.

Just trued to buy some online and was told. As well as Brokerage I would have to pay .02% ttransaction AND ongoing (annual it seems) 0.57%. What is all this about. Anyone know?

ColonelDrake, i am struggling to see the merit of a new Sugar Daddy (SD). If SD comes via share placing then it adds 4th. entity and further splits the power base - The company would never be bought and has to go to production. If SD comes in Franco way then I can see it will annoy BHP etc no end. but then how does that help us. When they were annoyed with Franco deal they did not rush to bid . Why would they do so this time . I am very confused as to what is around the corner and what the likely outcome will be so further thoughts from you and others would be most welcome.

They would buy enough shares which would take them to the level that forces them to make an offer at 45/55p. Bid may be unsuccessful but BHP get a large holding. If NC also bought more ,between them then they could say goodbye to NM at an EGM. OR better for us all it could start a bidding war

My personal agenda is T/O whilst I am still around to enjoy. Quick outcome ,be it at the lower end of the range, is what would suit me best.
