BOD has insider info so the representative on the BOD has insider information. I therefore do not understand Theiceberg your reference to an an insider agreement. The representative also has the opportunity of gathering information from chats that often take place before and/or after the formal meeting. It may be that I have misunderstood the corporate world and happy to be corrected

inclined to agree with you about this great news and other great news comments here. what worries me is that surely the market must also be aware of all this great news. Why then is the share price not reacting?

I am a little confused. This RNS does not identify the new investor for $/£ 5m. ? or is that still to come? Or have I misunderstood it all and this is it? .

Cooncan, Whatever it is and isn’t there is no denying many PIs like me missed out. Also directors with previous knowledge would have got in immediately leaving sophisticated PIs to fight over the crumbs from the masters table. NM could have been more helpful to PIs by allowing more time and/or choosing a different route but he didn’t.

Unlike you opulantia I don’t feel there is much to thank the BOD. After today I am with Redkinight1 –angry. I am not as sophisticated as many of you on this board but I see this as NM selling out faithful PIs like me. My rational for it
• Came home to find I have till 9.00 to bid and by the way
• That may not be true as it could have sold out well before then
• I am not primary bid customer so have to
o Open account.
o Find funds
• No time given to raise funds as market and banks all closed
• The directors, on the other hand, would have known about it well before today and would have had plenty of times to put arrangements in place to purchase first thing leaving the PIs to fight for the remainder

If there was a bid would it necessarily have to come before the deal is closed? What happens after closure depends on the details in the agreement. Does anyone know what the agreement stipulates, if anything, on take over? If silent then bidder would be bound by the agreement which they may consider an advantage or disadvantage depending on their assessment and financing model. I am therefore not sure if the funding news would necessarily force bidders hands. Any views?

Is there anything in the rules that requires price sensitive RNS to be published only on the day all markets are open. I ask this because we have a bank holiday coming up when other markets would be open. Would announcement give MMS/investors an unfair advantage if one of the main markets is closed when they can buy/sell on other markets. Anyone know?

Gino 73 I am worried by your comment. My understanding is that shares held in accounts with say Barclays Or HL are held in a trust account and therefore do not belong to the provider. They are therefore not affected by the provider going under. If my understanding is correct the £85,000 limit is irrelevant. Please you & others clarify the position as if the limit applies we all (Dreaming of Millions of pounds from Solgold) will need to split between providers.
