From the RNS of 30th June:

"The Off-Take Agreement pricing will be subject to a floor price. The floor price for the initial period of export is suspended and the parties are negotiating an agreed floor price to take effect from 1 January 2026."

If you were the Mali Government, would you prefer to issue an export permit with a floor price, or an export permit without one, and hence risking to lose money? There will be no export permit until 1st January 2026. It is of no benefit to MG to issue one now, which is the reason why Suay Chin is selling at an increased speed of 2.5x.

The Mali Government is deliberately delaying the export permit until 1st January 2026, which is the date agreed by Kodal, Hainan, and MG that a floor price will be established. They won't issue an export permit until then as they are afraid they might lose money.

Humster - If Suay Chin selling at an increased speed causes the share price to crash, and your investment here to be a bad choice, perhaps you wouldn't be able to afford a chocolate cake anymore. Do you want instructions on how to grow potatoes instead?

Humster - being able to reason using information from a publicly available RNS is a human trait. Being overly joyous for a share without any logical argument, and providing inflammatory comments, is more aligned with the behaviour of a bot.

Acores - Thank you for being a voice of reason. I didn't exit the share myself because I didn't believe that the orderly selling of Suay Chin would dampen the share price significantly, and that it would be absorbed by other investors. However, seeing a faster offloading of shares based on the three RNSs is something that I find concerning, especially if the export permit is to be further delayed which, so far, seems to be the case. Also, since Suay Chin seems to have a flexibility on how fast they sell their shares, we really do not know if the 2.5x speed they are selling now is not going to increase.

Suay Chin sold 1% from January 2025 to June 2025, then another 1% from June 2025 to August 2025. This means that they are now selling at a 2.5x speed, and they will surely crash the share price in the upcoming months if they continue like this. If they expected any imminent delivery of an export permit, surely they could wait before offloading shares rapidly?

I didn't make any negative comment. The fact that Suay Chin sells faster can be verified by anyone within one minute, by checking the 3 RNS of January, June, August. So please try to be more polite.

Humster, if you view SC as an investor as you suggest, then things become even worse. Why is an investor rapidly selling if they have not lost confidence on the stock? Alternatively, what do you think are the chances that if SC was allowed to sell in no "orderly manner" that they would immediately sell their entire holding? They clearly want out as fast as possible.

Thanks Acores. However Suay Chin sold 1% from January to June. Then another 1% from June to August, based on the released RNS. This means that they are now selling faster. They want to get out fast.
