I'm guessing that the possible increased raise to almost £10m should be viewed as a good indicator of interest in out next drilling project as other AIM companies have recently abandoned floats and raises due to the the market conditions for capital injections from the markets being very challenging at the moment. @causal, I'm not sure really but like you said they are suggesting a 4 week project time for the Eastern region drill programme. While watching the Four Corners production that I linked last time they were talking about the rush for critical mineral exploration and the huge pressure it has put on lab infrastructure for analysis so I'm guessing a few weeks after drill.

Sorry guys just back in from work and trying to catch up on the details of todays RNS. I thought that Maersk had previously invested in Vertoro to address investment and development in Lignin oils and now we have a JV signed. Does this mean we could see return to old path ways?

@Persiantrader and Dai2belts, Obviously if HE1 were to purchase the rig then this would give us the flexibility required on time line parameters that I suggested before. In fact it may even allow for multiple hole drilling going forward but what sort of money are we talking about and is that even a possibility? Nothing would surprise me going forward especially if DM thought that it was value. Lets be honest, the rig wasn't in a deliverable condition when we stared the audit so it wasn't going any where else very soon so hopefully to either contract it or purchase it we could be in an advantageous position to negotiate. I know this has been mentioned in much earlier posts so what do you think the possibilities are? Dai I hope you get back to your old 'POSITIVE' position soon as we have enjoyed your contributions. Lets just secure that rig quickly and then we get you back finding out all of the details that others don't have the time or inclination to find out. @dai2belts, my own theory around what we all perceive as a total mess is this:

1) The rig repairs and passing the audit are almost a given as DM did say that the discovered electrical faults were cured and injectors were on way to yard for replacement. The timescale that they have before declared spud date gives plenty of time to sort any other minor issues and export licences and logistics should be no problem.
2) The Tai site preparations to accept the rig can go ahead now to be ready in plenty of time.
3)Only when 1) and 2) are in place can we really determine the true date to confirm arrival of well services team. (The problem being that they are working in South Africa but will only be released once the operation there is completed, so what if they are delayed.)
My thoughts are that DM will secure the rig at a very reasonable price or at least on very flexible time line parameters. This will allow HE1 get it to Tai ASAP (within next 2 months) and get it set up. This move will lift the SP enough to allow a raise if a raise is necessary (we don't know our true financial position at this very moment). I say this as DM spoke of looking forward to regular updates in the near future. We then await the service team which could delay the actual spud date but the markets are cheered on by the progress achieved with the rig so that blow would be softened and most investors would probably be willing to wait for rains to hold up or service team delays.

I can't see that DM could declare a spud in January/February without huge flexibility in his plan which in my mind can only be offered by getting rig in place some considerable time before other services with rains approaching. My long winded answer to your question is YES you can drill in a rainy season if you can play a flexible game!!!! This is only my opinion so DYOR.

@ Dai2belts,I think there are enough of us on this board that would be willing to drag the flipping rig to site through the mud if that is what it takes! Now come on Dai what is your answer now, think carefully as I know deep down you really care for this project as your contributions to this Bb have been constant and considered throughout its campaign so we all thank you for that. @ dai2belts, You are sitting on a paper loss as many are including myself but I would love to know your answer to this question. If you had sold out at any point in the past for a profit and had all of those funds sitting as cash right now, would you buy back in at the current SP if at all? just wondering as I have asked myself the same question over and over and I think my answer would be......I would wait to see how the next 2 months go and then buy back in. take care Swissy.

FOUR CORNERS produced a good programme about critical mineral mining in Australia and some planned pathways for the mining and production of them going forward. Cobalt blue and Broken Hill are mentioned among others but demonstrates the general attitude of the Australian government and the mining industry proposals towards Cobalt and REE elements. I found the programme interesting and up to date even though it was produced earlier this year.

We must be getting close to applying for our full FDA submission and approval. I think from the last investor meet presentation they stated it was due to be applied for in the 3rd quarter, so hopefully news this month. after that approx 6 months to hopefully gain that full approval. GLA Swissy.

Wow, I just got in from a perfect sunny Sunday bike ride and I was met by the perfect post for KeithOz. How wonderful to have people sharing detailed knowledge on this board and quite frankly it has totally renewed my excitement for HE1 over the next few months so many thanks. We could be very very close to the perfect RNS for us all so start dreaming about the next stages to discovery and push aside the frustration of our long wait for news as it has to be just around the corner. I have just walked in from the most perfect happy hour down my local brewery and updated on all of the posts and realised that muscles had summed it up a treat! Then again I had really taken advantage of happy hour. I sincerely hope we can all chill out over the weekend and receive a fantastic RNS early next week because realistically we all deserve it. No1plasterer my thoughts exactly and well done. I sat looking at the screen in January when sp was this low thinking that there should be ample time to buy more before rig is organised at these prices. What a fantastic time to buy in or top up just as all are pulling their hair out with frustration but being IMO very very much closer to rig being organised. Smart move buddy and I'm going to join you, cheers.

Critical minerals alliance includes Australia and cobalt is on the list as expected. Security of supply over the coming decades will be crucial for a number of countries trying to secure against China's dominance in the sector so perhaps our Cobalt reserves are getting more important to Australia and it's allies.

@Hedgehog100, absolutely, so much of the raised capital is in hand ready to press the go button which is a great position for investors to be in. I feel that the fact new investors can buy in at current levels is absurd with that cash being ready and waiting and the 50million Euros of research already undertaken then what a great time to take a punt pre FDA approval. I can understand that many investors will wait for that approval to be granted but it would seem that any concerns of this not happening have been over reflected into the current price. Management stated that they wanted to put a very reasonable value at IPO of 40p and when questioned if they had any concerns when the first drop stabilised around the 35p mark they replied that they cannot control the market sentiment and short term fluctuations were not concerning them as achieving every step in the business objectives was what it was all about and that nay one of the near term future announcements could raise the Sp. They are clearly achieving these objectives in a very controlled and positive manner but unfortunately these progressive announcements have come at a time when market sentiment generally is confused and over cautious to risk. This sentiment does seems over reflected in our Sp and so at current levels Geni seems a strong buy to me. Willing to wait and see and add when I can DYOR Swissy.

@Hedgehog100, the one thing that I had to totally satisfy myself with when I bought into GENI was the timelines set out shortly after IPO. They all seemed very reasonable at the time and I cannot see that we have strayed off course in any way. I was always expecting clarity on FDA application by AUGUST with commercial exposure in the USA just after if all goes well. The management team have always been the type that work very hard to achieve our business objectives and every test and collaboration seems to have been achieved thus far without drama.

I feel management have been feeding the goose knowing full well that she can lay golden eggs but it takes a lot of care and attention to get her to do it. I feel we are in good hands and a little patience is required so sit back and watch how this plays out when professionals are in control. I know I have said this before but I really believe that we will all be rewarded with our own golden egg if or when we place for a second raise in 2023 with a possible dual listing on American markets. This isn't a given but the company know that retail and institutional investors in the States could value the share highly once operating commercially in that home market. I will just have to wait and see but I am currently happy to wait and leave it to the managements guidance. GLA and DYOR Swissy.

Thanks for confirming that Hedgehog100. I recall that during one of the latest interviews (Proactive Investor I think) it was mentioned that the process for BDD had changed slightly almost corresponding with the submission. There were no further details given and it wasn't specific to our submission alone but a general change to all applications. However that should not interfere with our pre-submission which should be well underway by now. Here is hoping for some good news and further market exposure as this share looks great value at current prices compared to IPO price and the fact that all promised business activities seem progressing to schedule. I totally understand that the whole market is uncertain with Ukraines battling for their country but I feel positive that our management will be looking after our interests and steering Geni towards its ultimate objectives. Am I correct in thinking that FDA pre submission takes on average between 60-75 days which should give us some news on the application towards the end of this month or beginning of April? It has been very quiet on the board since February which I expected but some promising news flow should start flowing soon. GLA Geni holders.
