Just saw the 2017 film 'Gold' (mind there are earlier offerings of the same name).
Not one for all the family as I found out, finished it on my own wife and kids voting with feet (!).
However, based on true events, its a fair real life biopic of one junior minor. Plenty of Hollywood embroidery no doubt so take it with a pinch, but a worthwhile couple of hours if you get a chance.
It touches on capital raising, the life blood that keep the rigs turning, also dealing with majors.
PS on IRR, one other area that I now appreciate better is the early stage nature of trenching results vs full resource statements, which will come in time.
I also understand better the nature of capital raising, a prime role of AIM, and I can see that for our foreseeable needs we are suitably financed (as described in Toros summaries) . I also see that as we evolve, the matter of capital raising never goes away. As in the film, the rigs need to keep turning, before any mines are ever built.
Still deep in here and patient. Waiting for the 'hydrant to turn on' Supergut, I liked that analogy regarding low free float. GL
