Answered with thanks. What I was calling resistance was in fact support and I think people use the terms too loosely.
PS I think NMs playing SOLG beautifully, we're in a great 'stable' here. I only hold 2 AIM stocks IRR and SOLG in ratio 9:1, so really only a token SOLG holding. Thanks once again and we'll be 'brought on' soon IMO. DGR are so strategic. ATB

Question. In a slang context companies have 'resistance'. IRR for example has 'resistance' at 21 IMO.
ATG, I think you have a good understanding of this. What stops 'cantors' dropping it to say , 15. Surely PIs can't absorb all sellers. PS all good with IRR. This is a purely a technical question I have come to ponder. ATB

Agreed. I also think you've been candid enough to recognise there seems to be a problem, albeit short med term, whereas the SP just can't get 'traction'. I don't think the BOD can do anymore. An ASX list sounds interesting. Personally i think recent events at SOLG help. NM now in the thick of it with majors, I think he'll also promote IRR via DGR, I.e he'll refer them to VM at al. ' who u know' always applies. The majors are monitoring IRR closely IMO. I'm still surprised by recent drop, I think we all are. However, no odds to me, not going anywhere. ATB

More specifics rolling out from Vauxhall / GM today about their plans for EV following in steps of other majors. The Morgan Stanley report doubting Lithium crunch appears IMO to be considered as misguided or at least oversimplified, its being forgotton. Majors have to secure supplies. India or Pakistan (think the former)have considered EV constituents so strategic they are almost on a war footing to acquire supplies or suppliers. If the assays hit the spot timing good to say least.
In context I know lithium not everyone's bag, so a note that I fully appreciate we are also underpinned by our western oz Fe assets amongst several others. GL

Morning, lost touch with SML while back, just saw this price! picked up a few at in ISA and JISA. Can't see that much justifies the drop. Company solid making profit. Very content no rush. At this price cannot be ignored. DYOR etc and stay sensible.

Is it the case that PIs if they hold enough shares ever move onto a BOD. What percentage would that require. Couple of individuals might be headed that way here but that's private IMO so my question is a general AIM related one. Secondly do PIs ever get invited to visit projects albeit if they pay to go.

Your answer covers a lot of ground and TBH it's a source of some fascination to me, there's a market within a market IMO that I will continue to research and may come back with questions from time to time. For ST traders in the stock I think they might be well advised to understand that inner market. I think as a LTH and a believer of IRR fundamentals the world of the Mms will remain a source of interest but won't alter the LT outcome of IRR, so I think for me research into the Company remains key. Hi ATG Genuine question. I want to understand the mechanics of your comments on Peel and CFEP. You're saying, and you seem to be quite specific, that these companies are shorting the stock. How do you know this please, is it published data. Do they work together, do they choose specific companies to short? Why choose IRR? You said that they 'hold down the ask'. This refers to shorting, correct? You believe these companies are able to control the stock price ? They can 'out gun' basic supply and demand? How does that pan out if great news lands? Any explanation appreciated, I know it might be tiresome explaining but I want to know more about your comments, you speak with some surity. I want to agree or disagree but I need to understand more first. If this is too long winded to answer I understand, Even a link might help. Thanks in advance.

And if I had a grasp of technicals or fundamentals a fraction as much as you two respectively...LOL. Toro you remain ever modest for an individual so on top of brief,, if you did do technicals I have a hunch you'd be 'good' at them to put it mildly... To my humble contribution; I do know that Vince in that recent pod cast was a man bursting to come out with 'something' but couldn't, yet, possibly a new partnering agreement or some such, I think we'll see it very shortly.
