Tamer, the tax loss can only be offset against revenue, of which ECR produces zero
Latest RNS looks to me efforts to justify cash burn over the year prior to the annual financials
A raise is still needed here so I'm expecting the share count to increase somewhat
Because offers of cash tend to be for equity and warrants ready for a good churn into unsubstantiated optimism, leaving the long term holder set for a ream out.. Yes I have some interest in ECR, same as a number of cos's and over the last, well fair few years that interest has ebbed and flowed and overall here, I cant complain.
Todays move is without doubt a strong one, doesn't change my thoughts on the need for cash though
And hopefully any 'deal' is more than just dispensing of windida licences, time will tell
Dill, nobody knows what the SP will do so its no use asking others, you just have to look at your average and ask yourself, is it worth listening to others SP predictions and how has that worked out so far for you.. Also what's most likely to happen given the track record and what ECR actual have in terms of assets. Any comparisons to GGP are in my opinion somewhat far fetched, GGP actually found something of interest to another party after promising drill results.. ECR doesn't have such drill results or assets to offer.. Windida looks promising from this angle mind you but I expect another company will just take the licences on for a few quid/money back on what's already been spent. Any tax rebate from r&d is just from money spent throughout the year. What's likely to me is a sub 0.7 raise for £1m plus then round the merry-go-round again , id give it 2 months
Cash burn is what it is unfortunately, an I'm thinking ECR don't have much to deal with unless all windida licences are granted is my thought
I'm not so sure its a question of whether its good or bad, for me its more why and on what terms.. Back when the Chinese investors came on board all ECR had as collateral was SLM, oz licences were still being processed at the time (Baillisten/Avoca). Since then, I really cant say ECR have delivered so maybe the Chinese investors see things the same way? Just look at who the BOD/CEO of the two companies are.. SLM is a 220koz JORC resource with upside and was on the books for over £1m then written down to less than £200k, I'm pretty sure ECR don't have the cash to focus on this but it almost looks like a related party transaction ie, investors haven't seen a return so here is SLM for zero
I don't think windida should be sold off btw, my guess is any farm in potential was based on windida and the award of all licences, so far only 4 out of 9 and the rest are subject to native title, which if continued with could cost time and more expense meaning the company aren't holding the upper hand. My expectation is the 4 licences will be sold off to what may have been the potential farm in partner, along with the others under application. Pure speculation on my part
This would be unfortunate as, for me at least, windida along with a farm in partner would be the ideal scenario.
Creswick was looking interesting but after the time and expense of nugget sampling, it proved no real uplift in grade, and grades at that level take 10s of £m to drill and JORC to a few hundred thousand ounces.. Id be surprised to see the company spend much more time and cash on 1g/t if that
Some decent looking results on the Baillesten licence a year or so back but nothing I would consider to be world class. My guess would be its a raise with a song and dance, possibly with an MOU of some sort, followed by drilling on a currently held exploration licence by the sounds of things. Just my thought so willing to be proved wrong
I'm not totally sure ECR have that much gold since SLM hand over.. in fact to only thing I am pretty sure of here is a £1m plus raise before long, I can sense it, along with a move away from windida is my guess
Good to see a little interest in here lately, processing capacity increases and decent size diamonds beginning to get noticed.. Could another 10+ct stone along with decent looking q3 results push this through the 150p area and onwards towards year end?? doesn't seem long before we find out
Can but hope a pink one of that size turns up, would be a huge sp mover..
Although! looking at the larger stones already rns'ed and taking an average (small data sample mind). The first 6 months of the year have yielded 8.35c @ $57k pm! kind of suggests another 12c due q3... ???? (will be interesting to see)
To add to that, upgrades to the front end should give a 33% ish increase to throughput!.. which is nice
He may have called the direction correct so far Ocker, but has been invested and remained so since 0.5, this means he gets a zero out of ten in my book.. must try harder!
Although desti's question and general scepticism over who would lend the company and why does seem to be short sighted. Selva is worth roughly £1.3m pa to pxog but requires a production licence and about £400k to get there..
Desti, If you had 400K spare would you buy;
government bonds with a real rate of return of -1.5%
Lend the money to a company (secured) @10%pa with the knowledge of increased revenues (upon licence)
Just curious what your thoughts are?
Little new to this company but have it on the radar, so might put in some research.. looking at the lead time to production, I wouldn't be surprised if a start is made to the above ground material handling/infrastructure in the near term. Guess it would take a while for the design and manufacture etc etc, but with the funding and the lead times... might be worth some digging
Good to see some decent size stones turning up that's for sure..
Q1 - 8.97c @$74k, 16.2c @$79k
Q2 - 24.98c @ $190k
Q3 - (so far) 12.2c @$105k
Does wonders to keep the average sale price up and bodes well for full year profit potential!?
Will be interesting to hear of the plant front end update, sounds like a new apron feeder and primary to enable inventory build from what I can tell.. news cant be far away is my guess. In the mean time a decent size stone every couple of months could help with the turn around..
Roty- point taken on the nominal value, always going to make a share holder feel twitchy.. One possible effect could be helping to mask the prior horrific dilution and sp drop over the past few years up to where it is today, who knows.. big question is, is the turning point here or not moving forward?
'The Crusher Upgrade Project is progressing well. The new crushing plant is planned to be fully operational by the end of July.'
'There were 1,326 carats on hand at the end of June, which will be placed in the July tender.'
Cant say I nearly swallowed my tongue, Piper son, but I have just poured myself another large, ice cold glass of butter milk..
might need another gallon at this rate.
I guess nothing is certain, on the plus side the prospect was small and not a real company maker.. would have been a nice addition of course but hay ho.. Cant be seeing anymore dusty ones BOD, need a successful result for the next tiddler.. or just get the cash spend down and coast towards the Italy production. Italy, I believe if all goes well, will be somewhere towards a game changer.. until then..
Looks like our neighbours at SLM are picking up good grades, the current focus here is obviously oz assets but SLM does seem an interesting project for the back burner.. Maybe worth more activity one day

I think a lot of long term holders have already turned blue mason, that 1p level was a tough one to crack!, nice to see added support around any slight pull back.. the next breath can be taken once additional upgrades are released, 400+ 30kg bags being processed and the bod have suggested 'more finds likely' (RNS to that effect)
Been two of three weeks since the last creswick news, cant see it being too long to wait
Seems to be hovering around the 1p area with the occasional lift to the 1.2 mark, all positive and still a low mcap
Im thinking the market needs confirmation of further gold finds from bag samples before the move to 2p+
Long while ago but im sure ive seen the mcap at ~20m on the back of itogon and slm back in the day. If the bod present more nugget finds in the crewick licence are, might just be enough reassurance for 2 to 3p with upside for additional rab drilling. Surprised we haven't seen more in the way of surface sampling actually, no doubt a scout around would throw up some positive finds??
As for 10 bagging, might need to see pretty positive results from windidda, mag analysis resembling past ggp work with a few favourable grades.. should get some indication of progress soon maybe
Early days, but the market can react to a nice surprise.. when they happen!
In the right area anyhow, found this quite interesting
While its quiet!

This has really reached a low point and it sickens me to the core.. I'm not talking about the SP or the BOD, its that someone would even consider posting a link to status quo.. an entire career based on the twelve bar blues makes Ed Sheeran seem talented. You do point out that Desti called it right (good for you and him!), but this is someone who also professes to have bought in all the way down which seems at odds with his posting and endless drivel..
The BOD in my opinion are on the right track, nobody liked the raise but the cash goes towards what looks like a low risk copy of a well already producing.. not big, but should pay back in the medium term. Italian production (when it happens) should put the company in a strong position.. the draw back/drag presently in my opinion only does seem to be spain and how to move it forward, JV would be ideal but I do wonder what the SP would be doing without it (presently)
I think what Ironic is trying to articulate is, steer clear of iron ore explorers, especially at ipo..
Way ahead of ya, but for cashed up oilers due a find and pre double spud, it could be worth a punt
From the info coming out of the bod, some, maybe all are expected this week.. Did sound like some hit the quartz vains so hopefully a decent number or two. Will it be enough to move the sp back to the higher end of the trading range??
Results so far have been fair enough, so would be nice to continue that theme, or even some sort of development to bring some positive impact to the company..
The purchase of a metal detector and a jam jar springs to mind, think it worked for ggp way back when.. at least, I think it was ggp showing scraps of gold/nuggets years back, cant quite remember? Anyways jam tomorrow????
