Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Aside from the upcoming news on the additional new well, DADI you raise a good point.
Q4 and Q1 results are for me the focus along with a 'tidier' balance sheet, should give the market a little more confidence
Cant argue with a longer term thought on gold price, particularly if negative real rates blow out
CRTM - think that's more of a case of a small company with nothing at present, moving towards a company with something. For what its worth, I have doubts they will focus on gold, but could be wrong, who knows.
Anyway hope the bod are putting the drill rig to good use
Option traders might care
300? No it doesn't
Only if real yields remain low, us10y gone from 0.6 to 1.34. get that to 1.5 to 2 in short order and gold and equities move down near term
Will need a heavy fed boot on the long end to turn that around, or a sudden up tic in inflation
Not too surprised that all resolutions didn't make it over the line, couple of them were a tall order, seems like the BOD are stuck in a hard place. Hopefully a compromise could move things forward, sooner rather than later!?
Looks positive to note the TR1's and BOD skin in the game so a project cant be too far off, anything to do with battery metals would I suspect create a bit of interest..
Early days but at an mcap of £3m, worth a punt
Worth bearing in mind his estimates are for timing of gas production, factor in somewhere around 6 months for plant build and lead times and an expectation of licence granting late Q1 early Q2 seems reasonable
Tyrrell "The AGM then follows directly after."
Ok, reread the RNS, the adjourned AGM or part of, is still called an AGM but held the same time as the EGM, or straight after at least
AGM - annual general meeting, been and gone, 6 & 8 did not pass (also 7), bod move the vote to EGM
EGM - Extraordinary general meeting, to vote on 6 & 8 AND the vote to ensure electronic trading etc etc
They are the same resolutions
Next AGM ~ 11 months away
Only a couple of thoughts so would only be guessing, did find a little more info out there on the project and it did leave me wondering what the terms might be. More specifically how orm plan to farm in and cover the 'milestones'. Only a small amount of research, but looked like the vendor has been looking for a partner for a while and there were two or so that didn't work out (over a few years), didn't figure out why though
But from looking at the circular, the resolutions pertaining to the project are special resolutions so if TA votes no, the bod will need 66% of outstanding shares to vote yes in order to be successful.. so minimum required votes hoped to be cast - some 88%! To me its a coin flip at this stage
Thanks TWB, yes the deal - resolutions 6 & 8
Past RNS's
Could be a number of reasons
Um yes but TA has voted against twice now and I expect nothing has changed for him.. this is why the company has RNS's details of a potential project and are asking other shareholders to vote
TWB, No its not 33% in favour
Its 33% of outstanding shares need to vote
Over 50% of that needed to passes a standard resolution
Over 75% of that needed for a special resolution to pass
So if TA owns 22% and vote against it will require +22% of outstanding shares to vote in favour for a standard resolution
Total +44% of outstanding shares vote, in order for it to be passed
If TA votes against a special resolution this will require as good as ALL other outstanding shares to vote in favour in order to over rule ie 75%
Pineapple, you do realise a deal wont be done unless all resolutions are passed at the EGM in feb
So far so good, but there are still hurdles
Seems like Togo are holding the licence back on porpoise
I was thinking it was Nic ola Sturgeon
Either was, not a bean should be spent in Togo until the paperwork is signed.. Not a single bean
Couldn't agree more dig, PJ would RNS the company buying a new shovel when the going is good..
Stocks like a regular news flow to keep the interest
The raise here does seem a little left field, kind of get the feeling something is a foot in a positive sense
No worries, coms must be quiet if shareholders are forgetting about selva :)
DADI, Cheers for posting
All seemingly on track for meaningful production increases
Hopefully a good run of positive updates to follow
I guess to be fussy, we do have gas to sell.. roughly 170 boe/d equivalent to the company!
