Haha I hope this board member delivered the line in the Theresa May "Brexit means Brexit" fashion. And if so, I hope GT asked what type of June we could expect to see.

Further to that, if we don't receive anything by tomorrow then the board have really shot themselves in the foot. Nobody made them give a date in the previous RNS and surely unless you were either an idiot or gave no consideration to the market and share price of the company then you wouldn't set a date that you weren't confident of hitting. It's mostly for this reason that I'm confident we'll see something either today or tomorrow. If not I'll then make my mind up which one it is, idiocy or total disregard of shareholders and lack of interest in making something happen.

Expecting to see a nice steady rise through the afternoon with people getting in before tomorrow. Then it's make or break tomorrow. Well for short term holders anyway. In the long term as long as the board deliver shortly I don't think it will make a difference. Granted it does nothing for investor confidence though.

One thing I do enjoy in flurries of volume like this is to pick of the worst clown-like trades of the day. Nice to see the zinc price continuing its steady climb upwards. Looks like if there are no big warehouse deposits today then tomorrow will be the day we see the stocks fall below 300k ton.

Just managed to trawl through the posts from the weekend and I have to say how much I enjoyed reading the thoughtful and considered debate backed up with considerable knowledge and evidence by both SW and GT. I certainly lack the breadth of mining knowledge that both these chaps have so it was really good to learn more of the process and what we can expect. Far from putting me off of AYM it only furthered by belief that there is considerable upside from here if the BOD start to push on in earnest. Even at SW's more conservative revenue streams it's clear that the project is viable with plenty of upside to explore. This is all, of course, providing that we start to see movement and the BOD start to deliver on time. Let's see what happens this week and go from there. I also don't believe that today's movement is anything other than traders being impatient and chasing gains elsewhere (AERO for example). When we have news, they will be back, I'm really not worried about that. Fingers crossed we're in for a good week.

Whilst it is great to see a more positive outlook again on this board, we still need the company to actually hit a deadline by delivering this study by the end of next week. Investor confidence will take a big hit if they fail to deliver on time again and I think we'll see a real short term hit on the share price. The last thing we need is another "Autumn" situation. I'm certainly more confident this time round given the communication in the holding RNS (they didn't need to give an expected date after all, especially if they thought there was a chance they wouldn't hit it.) and also the recent email communication from Bill Hooley giving an brief explanation for the delay. I will be extremely disappointed if we see nothing next week, mostly because I realise what a monster this could be if the board were more proactive but I'll reserve my judgement until Friday. Have a good weekend all and here's hoping that AYM provides us with an absolute cracker next week!

Haha, nice mental image and would certainly explain the delay. Think Bill may need to start writing faster or invest in an excel spreadsheet as the zinc price certainly doesn't seem to be slowing down, threatening $1.22 now!

In 2006/2007 when zinc prices went above $2 we saw stocks briefly fall below 100k tn. In the past 6 months we've seen stocks fall by 120k tn. If it continues in that fashion then we could well be looking at zinc prices near $2 in 1-2 years time. Now is clearly the time to get Parys into production and make some serious money!

Would be fantastic if we had a go at getting to those levels again. Looks like we are in for a severe stock shortage so you never know. Up above $1.18 now :D

Agree hiblue, totally frightening that someone is will to lost that kind of money in the space of a few hours when, as you say, they have a damn good chance of making some profit by purely holding for a few weeks max. Can't remember what the stat is about the average time people hold shares (particularly on AIM, which I know we are not in) but it's an unbelievably brief amount of time!

First day of the new committee's annulment proceedings tomorrow. "It is anticipated that the ad hoc committee will consider the Company's request for a stay of enforcement of the Award on or shortly after the first session on 20 June 2017." I hope we will find out the verdict on stay of costs either tomorrow or Wednesday (more likely imho).

Nice little surprise today but nothing that isn't to be expected with the PFS coming out shortly. Fantastic post earlier GT, superb summary of the asset we have here. As for posts like Indie07's, I really can't understand the mind set of someone who just posts nonsense statements on a board of a share they clearly aren't invested in. Of course this is going to be day traded as it moves so quickly and we have news due out but it really doesn't take 2 minutes to see that there is a lot of substance behind the rise. Anyway, good luck everyone, I hope AYM proves to be every bit as good as what we are hoping in the coming weeks.

Not sure anything has leaked, think people just reacting to early volume and not wanting to miss out on the release of the PFS. I know as much as you though so someone could well have heard something.
