The price goes down to 32p "glad I sold out at 38p" or the price goes back to 39p "glad I bought back in at 33P". Then if it shoots up to 60p " glad I have a big tranche left from buying at 7P". What a guy.

I prefer to live in the real world as opposed to your dreamland ramper's world. You still haven't answered my question as to why Total/AOI walked away from such a valuable investment. I'm long Tlw but threw away rose tinted glasses many years ago. Any alternative view to yours has to come from a shorter - well not in my case.

If this project goes ahead, Tlw recoup the 2bln from the production revenues over the life of the development. Its only if the project doesn't go ahead that Tlw claim re-imbursement from Kenya. In that scenario Tlw can go sing for it I think............

So presumably as 100% owner of Kenya's discovered oil you think Tlw is a huge BUY!!!

In a year when initial guidance was 58-66k bopd we won't reach the lower end of guidance. Source? Rahul.

Tlw Nov trading update: "Full year net oil production is expected to be marginally below guidance of 58-60 kbopd, primarily due to Jubilee South East schedule delays and reduced water injection". There has clearly been problems in the 2nd half Jubilee production but let's stick our head in the sand and go back to a statement in July that says everything is fine and production >100k

There is definitely a health warning on the figures quoted as they are based on cargo numbers from September onwards but it wouldn't be the first time Rahul has over promised. We'll see in January but I would agree that the >100k Jubilee production figure is important to achieve in 2024

SP, they've already said they will be below the low end of guidance (58k). According to xxnr on advfn board the current run rate for Jubilee is 80k bopd which if true will be a big disappointment.

Triple Witching today - don't ask me to explain but apparently volatility and high volumes not unusual.

You're clearly not the only one that's disappointed to see Tlw in the Ftse 250 - Power is gutted :)

You obviously missed the word "consortium" - they don't have to operate everything they buy you know. Generally what you do with acquisitions is you increase production, spread risk, increase cashflow, improve profitability and pay off debt. On second thoughts maybe you're right, let's not grow the company.
