Not surprised with this sudden explosive price rise, I saw these shares at 15p each a week ago and took a few as I suspected a takeover - I think there is more here than just rumour and conjecture when 24m shares are traded on a 4m daily average. What a Insurance brokerage to get on the cheap for one of the big boys. We will get an RNS soon I am sure. Probably find it is Peter Wood or Prudential coming back in to the UK domestic market.

Looks like a take over in the offing if you ask me the shorters who have 6.79% are being fried - nice one!!
Check out Marstons and William Hill too there are a lot of cheap shares out there as I mentioned last week.

I think the Beers and burgers will be selling like "hot" cakes -Marstons could be the one to take a rise from for Bee sales.

For commodities looks like Mr Trump is suggesting he made a deal happen on oils? Time will tell when markets reopen Tuesday. Also apparently Wheat sales and other home produce products have been selling well too) and so we should expect some commodity prices to rise next week to reflect this. I wouldn't count coming back in here at a low entry point if it was me. the fund managers are now out and amount snapping up bargains, as shown from the rises last week.

They discounted their property values during Brexit and a large no. are jot owned by them wither. They have been reducing their costs further by the recent statements and are well prepared to handle the crises. The will be now concentrating on "can" sales and I can see from our own local Supermarket a lot of beer is being consumed. As Marstons now own so many Uk Breweries now being the largest Brewery group in the Uk I see them actually doing very well at the moment. It was reported that many Pubs have been struggling recently anyway and so if they are closed there fixed costs will be lower.
a Good time to buy this share on the cheap in my opinion. I will be topping up next week as the weather has held out and many Beer drinkers will be consuming at home.

I think now might be the time to switch out into other bargains.

Hi Sipp -yes not surprised that Coors and Marstons are producing cans I can see a lot more being consumed at home especially if the weather holds out. What better way than to self isolate than sit in the garden relaxing with a pint of three. I can see the sales increasing on Beer sales in the weather continues the way it has started. I saw this morning the share price rocketed up early this morning before the day traders took profits. I am sure they will be in again next week. Longer term this is a very good buy in my opinion.

For AA -their Insurance division works off commissions. I like them therefore because they do not actually take on risk but will make extra income from rising premiums. Rising you say well how about all the cars and house damage caused by recent uk floods I know from my own insurances this is the case. However another tip apart from telling Sky and Bt sports thank you but no thank you at the moment where I save about £64 a month, is ITV their price will rise on income. If you wanted to advertise where would you go Sky sports, BT, or ITV??? I will leave that one with you. Likewise my feeling is the bookies will do well from home with games being played online so William Hill and Playtech who supply most booking Cos it games is a good call. I said buy Capita a couple of days ago and most laughed but they are up say 30% in two days and so that was a good call. I see a lot more movement upwards there at the moment whilst the NHS will be gaining all the money the Govt can find throwing their way.

My tip for today is AA plc I bought some at 15p -they used to always be about 44-44p as far as I could remember. I favour their online Insurance outfit to be fair very useful for quotes.
All the others I bought the other day have done very well. I have been lucky. This one will come back later -once the Chinese start importing the commodities big time. It is just at the moment the big fund managers are going after the bargains. They will then sit on them for a few months being honest, it not a coupe of years. They will not earn far more from equities than bonds.

We also have to give credit to Capita as they no doubt run the pensions for retired Nurses and Doctors like they do for Teachers and the Police which really puts them in a very good position to be able to approach the people that can help after all they hold their personal details such as home addresses etc. They always say knowledge is power well it is in this case to their benefit and usefulness to the Govt!

As Glen have the big deal in Oils with the Libyans we should take off tomorrow.

Yes chaps a nice little step up today and I see this as the start of return to form. I remember when I was offered a rights issue a year or so ago at 70p HSBC said if I was not going to take it they would take mine and give me something for nothing so they were interested at a far higher option then.
You are right too Mr Nation as Capita also help run one or two Lloyds Underwriting agencies they will be fully aware and most likely have business interruption insurances in place. They also are very big on keeping and getting emergency offices up and running and would not at all be surprised if they did not have a big play in the Nightingale Hospitals start ups for the NHS. A very good opportunity at this rising but still very cheap price!! IMHO.

Yep looks like to be Honest Marstons have it all covered. I have seen nothing suggesting they are not producing beer. To be honest as long at the staff are keeping a distance they could carry on. Certainly I hear the building trade are working on that basis. If the weather holds out for easter as last year I see them doing very well with home beer sales.

However from what I said yesterday after casting my net wider (I know many thought it funny) but I did well with my new two largest Holdings in Capita up 12% and Marstons up 5%. I was hoping Stobart might have done better but suppose can't argue with 3 %, Taylor Wimpey and William Hill did well but Playtec better again up 12% (they provide the systems for most of the UK bookies to be honest so a good hedge that one) but Tullow and Glen were my big losers.

Yeak BBW - I remember also when they came over here and paid over the top for all of our old Ladas. Mine you that were far better at starting in the coldest of winter than my old Father-in-Laws Ford Granada's. He used to hold a Lada about the place to just jump the Fords of it, ha.ha. Maybe we should buy them back to recharge our new Tesla's? Then we would not need their fuel anyway?

Hi Liquid -yes just saw Nymex Crude up and Bloomberg suspecting the cut from Opec plus could be 1 billion barrels per day. Gas up too with reports of increase demand? I suppose might be if the shale guys are cutting production?

Just found a link ......Bloomberg projecting a big drop........however presume they mean in production of Oil per barrel per day? Sounds like a bad habit to me, ha.ha.

Will helps oil. Glen have big ties with Libya as we know. I am sure they will want some answers from the Saudi's etc. Most Commodities coming around now Nymex crude currently up 3.64% & Mymex Gas up too. Corn, Wheat, Cotton all up too. Surely must be due to increased domestic demand? Not sure where the Toilet roll shortage comes in? ha.ha.

Will help Glencore later this afternoon. I also saw just now that on Bloomberg US futures are actually in the Green rather than the Red, and they have seen reports of a pull in Gas. They refer to the Oil deal between the Saudis and Ruskies moving closer. I see all of the above a positive for Glencore's wide ranging commodity dealings.
