If Carlsberg deal to sign off in September then once it is we will rise even more. A double positive in my book. I also hear on the grapevine more and more people are booking up for their hols in the Uk this year, and so I expect us soon to have an announcement on bookings. It sounds like we will may be surprised how well things are coming back for Marstons.

First good news today the Euro recovery package will help the Carlsberg alliance with sales in Europe.

BBC news announced this morning that the UK economy was already 50% back to where it should be so the news is improving and they said the economy is coming back fast.

Which also means the pension contributions will increase managed by Capita and with any increased fund the managers earn more. Good news for the Key workers and Capita.

I see Capita also gaining new appointment system contracts coming once the Drug comps have successfully tested their vaccines, as certainly when last looked they were running the NHS appointment systems for outpatient care. This could be a potential big win rolling out the antiviral injections.

The climate in the Uk is getting better with people being alert. Only 11 Deaths recorded in the whole of the Uk on yesterday figs. Out of say 68 Million people the death rate is currently low with people generally being safe. However it still pays to be alert. What with three massive companies now in a race for a complete vaccine Marstons will soon be back. At least they appear to be getting some customers in now and some much needed cash flow through the tills. In fact with less people driving and commuting I did hear on the news the overall Death rate is now lower than normal. I will raise a pint to that!

Like you wish in the end had held on Barrick but I have done very well with others I bought. I should really cash in profits on Taylor Wimpey. William Hill, Playtech and many more but feel Capita and Marstons even though I am into good profits feel they have a long way to go. One to watch out for once the vaccine come is Beazley the Lloyds syndicate they have a Reinsurance to protect their book and will gain from Increased premiums going forward. Another one I like is AA as they also could gain post Brexit with charges for issuing green cards and charging for overseas memberships, etc.

Moderna in final trials to start producing a vaccine. Final test now on 30,000 high risks and if successful their drug will be produced. Appears to be on the back of successful prelim trials.
Sooner or later we will have a breakthrough and some pedigree!

Marstons conducted quickly a distribution share agreement with Carlsberg to help sell the beers during the lockdown to improve its sale position when cash flow was non existent from its pubs/hotels during lock down. Now the pubs are re-opening cash flow will return, with projections that many will stay and holiday in the Uk later this year. Once we get a positive statement from the Board on this I see this share will rise very quickly indeed. I do not see the need for a rights issue with the finances in place should in fact the lockdown have got any worse, but it could come if they decided to expand further and make the most of other pubs/breweries businesses that are struggling and ripe for a takeover by them.

Capita run and manage a lot of Pension schemes i.e. Corporation of Lloyds of London, Teachers and Police to name a few. They will no doubt charge a fee on fund value and so as the markets comes back their own earnings will increase! Whilst I can see whilst they fell they will also come back on earnings as the markets increase. This is one of my favourites to come back strong.

I think market makers and shorters are trying to hold back the tide here by putting a large number of low value sales through, but it will not last as the biggest fund managers will see tremendous upside now for the pub trade and particularly for those such as MARSTONS with Hostieries attached. Give this one a little bit more time and once we get something released from Marstone themselves we will be off. The govt announcements to help went far deeper than I ever imagined.

When Capita employ thousands they will benefit from all employees being re-employed as back to work, and extra bonuses for training (how many new nurses/teachers required?) tremendous govt support here to businesses such as Capita.

Bonuses for taking back on staff, training youngsters and even more for mature over 25's, VAT cuts to 5% on Hospitality, and contribution towards Mon -Wed eating of 50% once registered in the scheme. This will turn around Marstons for sure. Well done Rishi!!

Pension schemes will start to recover their equity values as Far Eastern markets respond to cash buyers seeking bargains overnight, and what with the Govt. announcing over the weekend continued investment into the NHS and other projects that Capita benefit from will give us a lift Monday morning. I done well with this share already but will wait for the full benefit as this shares gathers recovery momentum over the next few months/years. I am sure most other pension managers see this too.

Pubs re-opening brings back the cash flow. Many will not venture abroad this year but stay in the Uk, see Marstons as a very good recovery stock.
Far Eastern futures up too, so we should get off to a good start Monday morning. As cash flow gain momentum and with the Carlsberg deal in addition to what we had before all of this pandemic we should come back fast if the Company can notify investors of improving conds.

Trust all those who held onto their Aca shares are happy they should be.

Mind you there are so many good comps out there now at prices so low there are many bargains to be had.

I agree like Marstons this share has the potential to double in price later this year and will naturally drift higher with the market but if any more contract renewals or wins are announced it will be another bigger step back to where it should be over £1 a share. Large Company this working in a variety of different fields and sectors. I know some staff here in the Insurance and reinsurance side of the business and they are all very good at what they do. I wish them well but there is no way this Company will fail anyway with so much backing from the Govt. and some big major players.

Beer sales will increase in this lovely hot weather - even for home barbys, when the pubs open I can see sales taking off. A lot on offer with this Company now as some have said. Over the next few weeks I see this share price being very strong.

Ten, five years ago one could not even find Marstons brews in the Supermarkets now all stock the beers. Hot sellers too where I live as my wife quite often tried during lock down to buy and all gone.
Once the Pubs open this share will really take off- The market does not look to the past it always looks to the future in advance and in anticipation. I am happy to have invested into this share some time ago and topped up big time when it fell. This is one of my most profitable shares at the moment together with Capita. I timed my sale off my gold mining shares to buy into a fallen market to perfection. Happy days but I will be happier once the serum for the Covid19 is freely administered. In the meantime I will try and anticipate the market like I have done for the past few years. I don't get it right all of the time but I do ok in the long run. if there is any sign at all that the Pubs and Motels, Hotels can come out of lock down this sector will rocket. Talk on the telly is that the Chancellor is discussing that drinking back to back may be allowable less than 2 metres as it is when one faces another that the risks increase. For Marston who own Motels, Hotels. Hostieries customers will have booked in already so I see Marston shares taking off with any inclination for the doors to open - could be a good week for those holding shares - happy days are here again!! They will probably find Beer (real ale) stops the virus who knows?

Joe there were some trades after the bell at 4.30pm and Hargreaves Lansdown have the start price as 63p but the £390/- trade identified by U/C was alas just an uncrossing trade at the end of the day where brokers/dealers settle up there crossed balances, so this was not an O or ordinary trade - hope this helps. I expect as we come back after lock down to soon be back at the over £1 a share level but we may be there in a month and a half!! IMHO. Good luck though the trend is certainly up for the whole market and if less trades are going to be made in Hong Kong you can bet the footse will benefit.
