Looking forward to Marstons overall Worldwide sales of beers to compliment the Pubs reopening.

Share price will soon turn again for the upside in my opinion. Good opportunity to take some other profits and invest in here.

Somewhere in the middle is the correct end result. i.e. The Western testing seems to be take a long time for clearance. Perhaps the ruskys will help brush some red tape to one side and get the approved vaccine a runner very soon. Either way the Uk seem to have done a very good job of containing and this should help us all going forward. Looking forward to sales figs from Marstons which might even surprise some on this board who now wished they had bought in when we were in the early 40's. I alway felt we would bounce back to 50 very easily and hope the moment will carry one. Fingers crossed. Like most on the board I seem to remember when the Carlsberg deal was announced we shot up to the 70's, and then only fell back when CAMRA lodged a complaint they felt we would lose some Beers. I have read the Marstons press releases and in fact they see more beers coming on stream so I am sure the deal will be sanctioned which will help Marstons move into Europe after Brexit. We have a forward thinking management team here in my opinion. I will not be selling my shares until we are back up to over £1. Good luck to all.

Hopefully now we will go back up to £1 a share by year end. Carlsberg deal expected to be signed up soon..

I feel they should prescribe Pedigree on the NHS - no problems here in our home whilst on our medicinal Beer!!

No wonder the govt. are trying to convert people over by offering to pay 50% towards your meal at the same time of drinking a couple of pints!! Marstons must have seen take up in the offer as they were one of the first to register.

I've gone out of here into "Marstons" and done very well. The govt. Sponsoring the Entertainment trades has helped provide so far over 10 million 50/50% lunches and I know Marstons were one of the first to register.
They also have Dan Webster signed up of M&A fame - So a take over could be in the offing?

I would say have a few pints is good enough. So far so good for my own home trials. Although my wife has said when I send her out down pit that she cannot always get Marstons beers in the shops - as it is sold out. So maybe others are also aware of my miracle cure!! Either way what with the Govt, incentives to go and have a meal and a few beers (unheard of prior to Pandemic) then at least we have support. Perhaps I see a new beer coming out called "Pandemic" which could be full strength or even low alcohol with less tax for long term slimmers!!!!

They say they now have a factory in Brazil producing and ten other Countries signed up. This will put the skates on the West to produce their own and speed Astra-zeneca and Glaxo final tests etc, to produce something fast.
Perhaps the market today is showing signs of a recovery on better news and Capita share price who run many large pension schemes invested in UK Equities will benefit as a result. I see this share rising quite significantly over the next two months this has got to be a strong buy, especially will results being announced on time.

Russia will make a Covid19 vaccine all tested and proven they say at a factory they have in Brazil. They also say 10 other Countries have ordered it already.
This will make sure we have something soon either from them or from one of the other Western Comps in final tests who clearly need to hurry up to produce. Perhaps this is another reason for the market pick up today?

Dalesflyer -could be because the Weatherspoons drinkers are on shorts? i.e. they want to see the Marstons price go down to buy some more?
I heard last week actually from one contact I have that across all 2,000 Marstons Pubs, the brewery have had trouble keeping up with demand last week and there may have unfortunately been some Beer shortages. This will help the Marstons price in fact rise. on overall sales

I said a week ago this share price will double and what with Capita this is one of my best buys. I am sure this will still happen. Hold on to those Marstons shares and enjoy the ride!

Also 10,000 have been given the Oxford serum in final testing we cannot be far away now from finding at cure.

Have a feeling the fall today was due to the extended lock down on larger weddings numbers (over 30), and high numbers meeting for another two weeks? However one pub reporting on the news tonight said they had seen increased recent trades and were already back up to 60% of revenues compared to the same period last year so what with many now holidaying in the Uk this year the numbers may well catch up in a month or two if the pubs can stay open and the govt scheme for eating works for mid week trade. All is not yet lost in my opinion.

& Into next week and beyond I have seen for the Marstons web site that they have now registered for the 50/50 eating out scheme with the Govt to have the Govt contribute as per the recent Govt incentives to help both the Pubs and the customers - once people realize this then sales should increase, especially as more and more are now staying in the Uk for the summer break.

Lots to look forward to at these lowly prices for Marstons what was it pre-lock down £1.18? I see increased Beer drniking and sales over the weekend whether at home from Amazon Marstons deliveries, Supermarket sales, and the Pubs all of which are now open?
I feel we need to look forward and enjoy what we have as a great opportunity here!

I know from the past studies that have shown when times are hard for people Beer sales increase.

Perhaps we should wait in expectation and see if this flows through to the UK Market. If so we will benefit here.

Perhaps they can tie this in with the other NHS contracts they run as they must have us all on a record somewhere. What with the govt. throwing so much to the drug comps (glaxo the latest) they could do worse than Capital continuing to run the NHS Out patients appts.

Demand has outstripped supply- perhaps the miners should collectively shut down more often?

If they take longer building the houses and the prices are rising a house builder makes even more money. Our local village builder used to allow his craftsman builders take as long as it took to build his houses in a rising market as if it was a favour - but he made even more money when they came to sell. If TW have taken longer to complete new houses in a rising market and the latest figs are houses prices up 3.3% for July then they will make more money going forward than if they had built them quicker in the first place.

I can see why Boris wants to protect our hard work for foreign high exposed areas. It is also good to see we are under control even with the Pubs open.
Can't wait for an update now on overall sales for Marstons beers and their World sales.
Funny how the no's have fallen with the pubs open - Perhaps drinking beer is the cure? Fancy that?

I must Admit I had heard of all of the International beers they distribute (apart from American shipyard) but am pleasantly surprised at the overall depth of variation of the distribution including therefore real ales and lagers. It makes the CAMRA objection to the Carlsberg JV look a but naive if you ask me. Marstons are in fact in favour of a larger distribution and not less. The rising pound I can see will help us with that imported for sale in the Uk. Good luck to all & a nice trickle up today -perhaps the start of a long and sustained recovery back up to pre-pandemic & £1 levels would be nice!

However I hear believe it or not the housing market in the states has picked up like it has over here. Maybe the increased sales are to come from all the traders coming back from Hong Kong? Although they have done so well they could buy 10 Taylor Wimpey houses at a time! perhaps they can then rent them? Another option if ever the difficult situation ever arose-although I do not see that happening with the govt. incentives such as Stamp duty off any houses up to £500,000 at the current time -Taylor Wimpey are certainly playing this all down where right move announce price avge increases of 3.3%.
