Comex now Usd15.28 and up an unbelievable 5.39%. We should respond tomorrow positively. I saw today we did rise by 9% at one stage but drifted back lunchtime. Tomorrow will be a different day where we should hold firm.

Yes Comex futures currently USD1708 and Spot price is USD1662 and rising I have just seen the Gold curve for today -well I say curve it looks like a 45 degree line upwards to me. Hopefully after getting onto the runways we are ready for take off tomorrow.

Good news for HOCHSCHILD MINING as Silver spikes up fast - now Over USD14.62 and back into profit for the year already!!

Hopefully we should now start rising faster, I saw the other miners moving up a few minutes ago. Comex futures now over USD1682 (they were last working on June delivery when they don't have enough to go around).
Sounds like a lack of Gold like toilet rolls in our local supermarket, ha,ha, you have to laugh!!

In line with what I said last week the Comex market is higher than prices in London as they cannot meet 37m of orders for June delivery when they only hold Usd2m for shipping. Prices will rise a lot further in my opinion. Strong buy Centamin who produce and who have not cut production due to virus.

Also feel the donation from Centamin to be a pleasant gesture as they do not have a problem themselves with the Virus. In fact they could probably pay a little bit more for help with Security and scanning so that they can continue to mine and keep an advantage over most of the other world miners who have needed to cut production. This leave Centamin in a very sound stable and what's more safe position ready to continue and take on new projects. A very sensible move to offer support.

Fres is the World's biggest Silver miner and produce a shed load of Gold too? The price of Gold in GBP is at record levels or thereabouts and Silver is up and continuing to rise with sentiment of an Industrial recovery. All the miners I am in pay a divi too and what with Sterling at lows against the dollar both income and divis from a dollar earning currency are worth more. I was talking to one of the biggest fund managers last week and my words were actually partly a quote from them. They do not see themselves holding physical gold but will hold the Miners. Their words not mine. I see them coming in here too as well as the other big ftse producers. More income from all is more than what bonds can now provide. Most fund managers will use the safety of the Precious metals miners to balance their books so that they can also buy more riskier assets-again their words not mine. Its suits me but I do see Gold having risen by over 400% in 20 years a good reason for your thoughts. However I will not be on plant earth in perhaps 10 - 20 years and I enjoy buying and selling my shares as a hobby.

Once the big fund managers start coming in we will take off. Prudential and the M&G used to be the biggest independent shareholders here a few years ago and they will see greater returns here now rather than being in bonds. I ses the same for Fresnillo and Centamin where Fund Managers will select these shares for safety enabling them to balance their books and go for the more riskier shares. They need some safety in any book for their long term liabilities the divis the miners give will help income to the book. Most banks have suspended theirs so I would not look there for a divi - yet.

The reason some of the Oil drillers and producers is up relates to reports that the Rushlies and Saudis are talking but nothing is guaranteed with them. The best bet to make the most of the market is to buy a FtSE tracker if you want to rise with the whole market. I already hold some of the fast rising shares as am glad of the recovery. However the whole World realizes this is only a daily report of reduced casualties from Corona 19 and can change again at any time. I have found in the past never to rush in where shares prices have suddenly risen as like you are thinking others are too and they will sell, and so I am waiting for the dip before I move any cash across, but I am not sure about oil long term anyway as there is excess supply. You could always cover your options in all of your money is in here, by selling some and keeping some? Your call. Sometimes I have been known to take my profits only and stay invested and invest the profits for free into other shares to expand my portfolio. However it depends on your circumstances but if you need all of your money for income you might be in the wrong game? Unless you are an experienced fund manager? Good luck what ever way you chose. Your man Keir Starmer may have said he was born in Southwark, but he was in fact raised if Oxted Surrey, I agree he is no fool having attended Reigate Grammar but this was Fee paying from 1976. I am not sure your idea of humble and mine are the same. I do not hold any difference of opinion on class or race. I did not originally like Boris but I do now and I actually now like the fact he has character as it makes life interesting. I prefer Hilary Benn thats all to KS as I feel he would have provided a better more rounded opposition. I like Benn because he talks a good game and has some good ideas that all. I have a feeling KS was raised and brought along by the recent Labour party guard which was disruptive and they did not in my opinion have the Countries interests at heart with Brexit -only their own. All of the parties should have worked together but they didn't. However I also for some reason quite like Nigel Farage as he appears to talk for the man in the street. Perhaps he would make a very good labour party leader,ha, ha, let's be honest he puts on a good show.

Very rare to get a divi today in this market and especially a good one. Centamin are building a cash pile and let's face it no one could ever have imagined the Gold price in Sterling was going to be approaching all time highs last yr. As I said last week I see fund managers coming into this share for a variety of reasons, income for divis, growth , and less risk which will enable them to hedge this share against more riskier buying and assets. Just told BT we do not need their sports and they are crediting customers for free until the sports are all back on, another £17 saving for our two set top boxes. So that's £66 saving for cancelling Sky sport and getting BT sports credits amazing. Makes up for the Banks cutting their dividends and for more to invest in shares. Happy days. Centamin -I was talking to a fund manager Friday and they said they were going to go like many others out of secure bonds into stocks that they see as real bargains and then hedge their bets on stocks against Gold. not physical but perhaps the Gold miners. I know they in the past have been all over the FTSE miners so if they start we will see a jump in our share price I am sure. There are so many reasons to be in here at the moment.
For Oil discoveries I will have to look in 88E but I am into Tullow, as well as some of the others (They will get it right in the end) but like many now is not the time to be buying drillers, more the time to be buying those that cap wells such as "Plexus" with their POS-GRIP technology. The ruskies have a contract with them as well as most North sea producers. They have a proven way of capping and seal so that th well can be reopened in safety. Shame the "Deep sea Horizon did not have pos-grip technology on its well head. Apart from Tullow I am also into Cairn Energy and Premier Oil, The one that gets the headline makers is "Rockhopper" due to the reserves they have found in the Falklands but the Argies want to be involved as we will remember. One day when the price is far higher I am sure there will be money again in oil but today there is not much in it due to over supply.

I know we hoped for Centamin to rise before London close and we were just about up, but I see the Gold future order book growing and so will the price of Gold over the next few weeks as the biggest fund Managers come out of Bonds into stocks where they will hedge against future losses with Gold. The don't always have to own physical gold but I know of some that buy into the miners instead -So lets see what happens but it could be a fruitful couple of weeks, if not days.
