Miners following suit. i.e. Centamin, Fresnillo and Hochschild up 4.97%, 2.79% and 1.12% respectively- leaves further room for upwards growth where the Silver and Gold prices are currently up to USD28.36 and 1908.52.
I will look forward to the income figures from all three very soon but traditionally the miners move up quite fast towards results due late June into July in any case. Good place to be here in my opinion.

All I can say is the weather is absolutely right for going down the Pub and most where we live in the Country over the last weekend were literally rammed. Almost the forgotten top 100 stock this but the one that will benefit from rising Gold and Silver and whats more even Iron and Lead prices that have been headlined in rising demand so much today.
Add to that the serious recovery rate in Mexico and their new found testing for Covid (by a simple cough giving instant results) that no one else has found and this is a very good stock to buy for multiple reasons!

Looks like we are rising today in line with the World recovery in trade/demand, and the P.O.G is still moving up on Comex and Spot. I can see us moving up past the Barenberg figure soon and no doubt will be attracting a number of favourable ratings very soon.

In fact apart from Fres coming back a little bit for me, Hoc has been my star! (well apart from Rolls Royce and Melrose, Nat West and one or two others) to be honest Centamin was my biggest surprise about turn. Although the sale was over done now Mr Biden has said his piece tonight with lots more money into the USA economy.

They can see Gold continuing to climb up towards 2100oz, after recently coming back from2000oz, and if it continues its upward path will see significant gains for the Gold miners.
I note Liberum quote with we start our coverage with a sell rating as you say Gold Gnome why would they start with a sell? erh they see this as a great share to buy, but want to lessen their own risks by trying to force the price down first. At the moment the precious metals miners will give that. many other Comps at the moment cannot. Some coming out of lockdown will not for two to three years. The precious metals miners if on the FTSE will produce, but will increase in value to overseas investors to buy if GBP falls. Mr Cummings is doing his best for us bless him. I have a large portfolio and invest in most FTSE precious metals miners and have done for the past 10 years. I do not fear foreign govts. as those that become to greedy do not last long politically. The stable ones always negotiate a good deal and that for precious metals miners is about 50% of income. The fact the South American miners are listed on the ftse with head offices in London will make it politically difficult for foreign govts. to act without the Uk Govt becoming politically involved. The Miners also have political risk insurance to protect them and represent in the rare occasions when this happens. I am not afraid of investing in HOC and FRES (where their divis are most welcome when most do not pay them) and for Centamin bear in mind the UK is Egypts largest foreign investor -which helps. I see the announcement from the CEY B.O.D. actually as a way of getting more business from Egypt. i.e. They will not want Centamin losing its focus away from Egypt and to encourage them with competition in mind we might find new Egyptian opportunities coming our way now. Could be a clever move. Just like Tottenham announcing they want Poch back when really it is to stop the likes of Kane, Alli and Son leaving. If you catch my drift. Your call obviously but today most of my other shares did very well. So if one day CEY falls for me it is not the end of the day. Just the beginning of a new cycle!

Pretty sure we have not yet seen and end to the rise for precious metals. They is no way that interest rates will start rising as quick as the banks would like. In fact they are being crucified at the moment by the US Authorities for feeding off other people misfortunes! Fed wants to let inflation run for a while too with no sign of raising for a while yet. Dollar falling will help too.
I forgot we were open for business tomorrow before the bank holiday. I suppose with all the April weather we have been having in May I have become quite confused.
Glad the squeeze is on the shorters already as immediately we will see gains -although no shorts over .5% on short tracker were listed for CEY when I last looked.
