Traditionally the fund managers start building now until July when the results are issued. If Silver for the year is up 60% and production has increased on last years stoppages then my feeling on the balance of probabilities is we should be in for a very good run, as in previous years.
However everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Both in the Aviation industry. RR when I was at Lloyds working with the Aviation Industry found them to be the most reliable Jet engine and of preference to most Countries airlines (with money). They are/were also the largest service provider for all jet engines across the world using their own service centres to service not only their own but almost all other jet engines too and would have accounted for maybe 80% servicing of all commercial jets in the World. When more get flying definitely one to watch. Melrose too are heavily employed in the AVN Industry as well as now owning GKN who produce the power units for a large no. of elect.cars aswell as motor industry and avn industry -so worth keeping an eye on too. I also hold both. R-R also have in progress new local mini nuclear power stations on offer that could go to local communities where more electric power is required. Allegedly more environmentally friendly than the old RB211 fossil fuel burning rigs, and might become a necessity the way the world is going for electric! Good luck!

If we have 1500 from June, say even 700 open now. Say on avge 25 customers a day (most likely far more). £25 spent? 25 x 25 x 700 = say 437,500 takings a day, that will double from June.
Even Ralph F - reported recently that many pubs have reported in with increased sales on what they even anticipated so once Holiday makers work out that there are some great places to holiday in the Uk the summer should this year be far better than most with an increased client base. With good weather coming from the end of next week the next qtrs figures should make far better reading.
I have holdings also in Compass and Whitbread to make the most of any further unlocking from July.

Should help the balance sheet from Monday. Comex and spot both up at the moment. Silver up 60% yr on yr is helping to make July's figures look very good. End of July last year we were 1270p moving up to over 1300 in August -so we will start moving up soon as we usually do from this time onwards - I am hopeful!

It is good to see some more positive points from someone willing to invest like me in Mars. I regret there are two of three on here who probably work from the same address trying to pull down this share so they have either shorted or have sold off and want a lower entry point. Not worth listening to unless you look at it like I do now they actually work for me!
Your words are true and what anyone normal would expect. I can see what with the weather we have been having of late which lets face it has been over cast for too long will soon change for the better, and Marstons always do better in a nice hot summer! Lots to look forward to here. Many analysts have said recently they expect this share once it gets up and running to be a £1.60 share perhaps £2. So I am topping up on the falls. I suppose I should be thanking the three negative amigo's really as last year they made me a fortune. Good luck.

I am surprised more govts. and financial institutions have not come in here, maybe they have not yet worked it out that the income from divi's and share growth over the next year is expected to be far greater than any bond at the moment.
We are well on the way to a recover here up to the £2 a share level once again, and I am staying put. In fact on every years tax return I am surprised with how much I have earned from Centamin on divis alone. Certainly more than any UK Bank account is going to pay in interest. Like most others would feel Income Tax is the biggest drain on my holding but in some ways I am pleased to be contributing and doing my bit for the UK Economy. Good share this one.

If one was to look at say a three year chart it can be clearly seen that this share should rise up to the results being released in July by which time the share price is usually about 1,200p a share. So we will rise up a long way on the current price, as in previous years now a very good time to buy. In fact in my opinion when the Silver price is up for the year by some 60 to 70% we should certainly be seeing improved income figures, and as production looks like to have less lockdowns than last year, added to the fact the Mexican economy is now growing at such a rate it has surprised Wall Street, I consider this to be one of the best punts in my portfolio. In two months time we will see if I was right! Good luck to one and all.

Gold and Silver on spot up fast and Comex up too. I see we are responding with other precious metal miners all ftse precious metals up, i.e. Fresnillo, Centamin and Hochschild.
Just announced all Bitcoin trades over Usd10k to be reported to IRS. The clamp down by US authorities will help precious metals trades increase as opposed to the virtual currency now under scrutiny and we will respond positively as we are doing today.

We should see a very positive response going forward from now as the IRS have just released headline news they are clamping down on bitcoin and virtual currency trades with anything over USD10k needing to be reported! This will move the focus off the virtual currency traders to hard precious metals and real gold rather than fools gold. Lets see over the next month what happens, but traditionally anyone over the past 3 year Fres always moves back up towards July results in the GBP1.2k range - So historically this is the time to come in to Fres for at least 3 months!

Marston's, which is the two century old brewer of Pedigree, Hobgoblin and Lancaster Bomber beers, said that approximately 1,000 pubs have reopened across England, Wales and Scotland since April, and early trends show sales in like-for-like locations running at approximately 80% of pre-COVID-19 levels.
Also goes on to say with the headline they expect to see in fact increased sales with new customers after June I suppose the remaining 500 pubs that are currently remaining closed will re-open to easily make up for the 20%. Great news for shareholders NOT so good for the negative shorters.

Precious metals are spiking quite fast now.Not sure if this is a reaction to the Fed looking into and who are going to structure and regulate bitcoin trading or not? But growth is here so that may be it?
Silver now up to USD17.84 and Gold USD1884, we should soon be back over £2 a share.

Mind you the "official short tracker site only has 0.70% of any shorts disclosed - so they can't have many shorted any way? Maybe their £200 Card allowance, ha.ha.

Certainly many bit coin traders may decide to prefer to buy in to the miners for a divi, rather than stay where they are!

I heard last week a couple of items of note on bloomberg. One was a sudden surprised in growth for the Mexican market which caught many analysts out as to how well it was doing, the other was that the USA and sending to their immediate neighbours being Mexico and Canada large supplied of vaccine so that they can protect themselves quicker.
Today I was surprised we closed down Centamin closed just up, as towards the evening Silver and Gold on Comex turned more positive. However the future looks very good as the Chinese have now said their financial houses must stop dealing with bitcoin. Many predict therefore further demand in Gold/Silver instead. Fingers crossed as we start to move towards our financial figures which on the raised commodity prices for the year should be very much improved on recent years.

Razor as you know there are many ways of looking at gold. Local currency also has an effect on production costs. i.e. When converted back into GBP for the books. So higher GBP buys more local currency = cheaper prod.costs, but if higher against the USD could affect income from earnings as you say where sterling is worth less and could be beneficial. Some view Lower dollar actually increases the demand for Gold as in real terms as you say rated in USD it actually becomes cheaper. I see today that when bond yields reduce the value of Gold increases. Also as World production increased as Gold is used as a commodity it also becomes worth more. At times of uncertainly or in times of crises the world traditionally turned to gold but they now also look at Bitcoin -however I have a feeling that bubble is coming to an end. I have a feeling with interest rates staying low for some time yet, and as inflation grows in time Gold miners will remain a great investment as a hedge but if rates are to go up and increase then this goes against Gold as some will feel better places with increasing rates. I am staying put for the time being with my Centamin, Hoc and Fres shares as on the balance of probabilities I feel in the shorter term over the next few months our earnings on raised commodity prices will be very impressive. Fingers crossed hopefully for all the right reasons. Gold has become far more complicated to project in my opinion than ever before. IMHO.

The three shorters on here forget one thing most of the pubs are now open and taking in cash, and in June all being well all 1500 will be open. inside and out. This will bring in a shed load of cash that was not brought in for a year and the reason for that is most who are sensible will not risk going abroad but stay in the Uk. When did this last happen? Most summer holidays in the past a fair percentage would holiday abroad -well this year the situation should now change and with Pubs just re-opening and more customers in the Uk than a normal year the recovery for Marstons will surprise many next qtr I am sure. Keep faith this is a very good long termer. The Company is so cheap it could still be bought out by Carlsberg or an RF Management buy out - or even from anyone who has not put in a bid for six months!! Think about it, but like me do not bother to think about the shorter's stuck like a negative broken record and not full of any positive good ideas or any Pedigree! I may even go away with the misses and charge up the Tesla. What other pubs offer this!
