Pleased to see the support Barrick have given Acacia on their own release (to the goodwill gesture) to help settle the dispute and that positive talks are still progressing for a fully signed up finalisation which is in everyone's interest. The market talks and today's every increasing rise is an indication of a start of a long sustained correction. The indication to the composite release is a signal we should now see an end in 2018 (if not before with what appears now to be gaining momentum) to this hiccup in Acacias history. If the additional cash flow helps open up other opportunities this could be the share of 2018!

I think once Acacia agree to the/ or a deal we will be downing the shorts! & they will be wearing micro pants!-Hope so anyway, but if not I will use the opportunity to think about selling at the end of the financial year to offset my other gains! This has been a good year financial year in general for the other shares hasn't it.

Just thought what with Trump cutting back the tax's the demand for Gold may "ramp up" too. Extra money for the Yankies to spend at Christmas-me thinks!

Any future operations with the Govt. will rely on trust. The President and the Chairman of Barrack get on very well, and one thing that has happened in the intense negotiations over the past three months is they have got to know each other very well and trust each other. In fact the Chairman of Barrack said so in his statement of last week.They have Trust. The only doubt is what Acacia have released by saying they need some further clarification which is understandable before they advise their shareholders. I am sure as soon as that clarification comes out and if it is phrased as it should be positively, this share will rise very quickly. In fact the fund Managers will most likely increase their stakes -so watch this first. It was interesting the price started to come back late Friday off the bottom and then Barrack rose on the Dow at close.

There is always a reason for a generous offer to settle. The Amercians from my experience are very good as seeing future business opportunities. I suspect that this is what has swayed the offer. i.e. The Tansanian Govt. have for a few months said they want a Company formed to run and report to them on all of the miners in the Country. If Aca set up a Company in their Country for 50/50 what is that saying? To me this offers tremendous opportunities.The good will offer is not due now and can be paid in the future. Fresh cash for Aca is to be earned from 2018, The future for Aca looks bright. Lets review again in three Months time!! I now see more positive than negative if I was a shorter I would be starting to get very worried. This share could rise again like it did last week suddenly. It is not going to fall again suddenly with everyone watching like a Hawk and waiting when to go back in. Most will be too late in my opinion. That is why I have been building up my stake on the drops.

Craig, I was for some reason thinking for the last day that Acacia have been left in the cold, but Barrack need the income from Acacia too and I have seen their own share price fall in recent months and so they will actually gain more than us via the Double count, ie. Aca and Barrack share price return. I was thinking incorrectly the last day or so and have now reversed my mind that this will work, otherwise they would not have agreed what they have. I will express to ACA that as shareholders we need something fast to put us out of our worries, Lets hope they can provide.

Craig, good call, I was thinking about the payment and can see that as Acacia largest shareholder Barrack- who lets face it own more of the Company than any of us, actually do want Acacia back and to succeed. It is in their interests for the Company to do so as quickly as possible, as well as our own. If they can see the benefit of the deal then we can too. Have a good weekend hopefully ACA will release something very positive soon.

I cannot see how they have signed for Acacia who also have operations in other Countries. I did not say Tiger that they quit Tansania but if their costs are shared and a Subsidiary is set up then that leaves the Holding Company to expand the exploration projects to return a greater yield for shareholders from the other Countries where the exploration results issued today look very interesting. Why should we as shareholders gives the whole Company over to the Tanzanian Govt. Barrick have signed an intent on their intent. Bloomberg just issued a statement Barrick deal has left Acacia in the dark as to why it was done by them as the content seems unclear? .

My observation is Acacia have an interest to protect its shareholders on the LSE. The idea of establishing a Company in Tansania is one to affect Tansania only. i.e. The latest results referred to tremendous exploration and findings with results being published and the possibility of the companies share being increased in projects abroad where it appears mining could take place. There are more Countries affected outside Tansania than that itself. The whole Company will not and cannot therefore be absorbed into a new one in Tansania. Uk Shareholders will not approve to that I feel.

Once one of the very positive new drills is used to start production what will happen to the share price? See the precis before the end of the Results report. It appears they are now very serious about new production with the new finds!

I also hope for reference to opening up and furthering ops. in other Countries such as Kenya where the exploration results have shown a very good grade off Gold as this is where I see the real value going forward without all of our eggs in one basket so to speak.

Due out tomorrow, I am now sure these will be positive but not sure if anything else may be forth coming from the deal discussions as it is still early days. I feel the statements will need to be positive enough for the large fund managers to continue with their full support, and it was interesting that Blackrock increased their stake yesterday..

I feel this is a good long term buy and I must admit I did buy some today, I feel there is more to come out of the deal that could favour Acacia/Barrick otherwise why do the deal. However there were some who felt the deal would have been far worse that what it is now. All things considered it could actually have been far worse?

Think about it, I know some will say its 50% less, but what about opening up new mines? The govt will see that Acacia are the preferred choice if their own returns are increased by have them on board.. The terms of the payments have not been disclosed but could be from the held composites that can now presumably be released and so therefore there would not be any immediate requirement. Acacia will also be subject to less tax which was the biggest hurdle between the parties? The current share price is already less than half of where it was and so there should be some mileage left for further potential increases. .

It is a shame the release was not discussed with Acacia prior to release to keep etiquette -however Barrick were asked to conduct the discussions which they have done. I cannot see Acacia not agreeing to a deal if their majority shareholder has agreed to it, but perhaps some finer points could be diplomatically sorted to dot the i's and cross the T's. The positive thing is at least we know the discussions have something that I feel is positive to both..

Odd numbers selling? Even nos buying? Perhaps more buyers than sellers will seal it. I would still be happy for a 19% gain tonight before close and expect an Acacia announcement very soon perhaps after close. Which will hopefully be very positive for another jump tomorrow?

Market jitters when top comes off market, & Spain, Trump, Korea, China Manufacturing back up, sterling rise only a small increase % in rate, will see this share sharply up in the long term. I remember a few years ago when this was a �6.00 a share, and what this and Hochschild actually have v.good latest mining reports. Perhaps they will come back and see rises also once/if KAZ is sold off the top?
