I only provide additional thoughts to support my own which are honest and reasoned. I do not like seeing comments that are inaccurate whether from the press or otherwise. I consult with the Company itself and do personally communicate with the Acacia press office. If you want accurate information I suggest you do the same. I look at the price of this share and see it at this price as a strong buy. I do hold a large number of shares of my own and so I have have vested interest. I have no need to sell at this level as I do not believe in a working loss. I can wait. The fund managers I have spoken to look at this time for Acacia as a blip. One of those fund managers is known to be the largest on the Ftse-fact. However I see the comments on here which are designed to lower the price and I will always offer a balance being an alternative view which is for opportunity in the future of a rise, not a fall. My opinion is not from a third party and is always an honest opinion from myself. Other people are also entitled to their own opinion if it is from a honest source. However just keep in mind the press are known to not shall we say bend the truth as they also have their own agenda.

FYI -All the big fund managers use Morning Star including the London Stock exchange. Mr Gordon and Mr Wray are still in office to safe guard the smooth negotiation and transformation. They have given their intention to resign but will still conduct their duties until the new year. They are certainly not running away, if that is their intention they would not even be in office. The Shorters will write anything and attack to to get you to sell. I agree this share has hit near rock bottom and over the next year will do very, very well. There is an old saying there is no point in selling at a loss. The shorters said the same about Thomas Cook and I did very well out of them..

i should wait shorters....as Corporal Jones said "Don't panic!". In the meantime lets see where it now goes, 160 will never happen whilst this share goes through 180. Once it gathers momentum my Rocket Ship and share of 2018 will lift off.

Denby you appear to be on the wrong share page - as you are looking up the wrong share price? Now the sleeping dead have departed we may have some real action, lets hope it stays alive and up from the grave.

Couldn't it be simply that the departing pair would not move to Tansania where'as the two replacements come from Africa (one even having run one of the mines in the Country previously. Think about the deal agreed by Barrick with the Tanzanian Govt. i.e. A new Comp. is formed which will be based and run in Tanzania. Think about it as the meerkats would say Simples. By the way a very large buy trade went through after close?

It might be worth watching today as I suspect the American and Canadian will like their own people i.e. ex-Barrick moving in. I am now pleased I rate this as my share of 2018 and I have increased my share further. It might be worth the doom-mongers keeping close to their mouse if this thing lifts off. However Mr Canrey may today interrupt proceedings for half a day with his measly suggested rate increase for those with a nervous disposition?

Interesting coincidence as both worked previously at Barrick, both have in depth African experience too and will be very well known to the Tanzanians. Talks are obviously now moving forward fast and this could be untangle the "bottleneck" & actually be a good move, or may become a takeover target, &/or will now follow Barrick's suggested framework? Lets face it the current management left room for improvement and were clearly clashing so nothing lost. I also notice the share price has not tumbled on the news.

I am glad my comments have motivated those showing concern for this Company having a blip. However this share is nicely up today so thank you all for the comments and keep the feedback coming. Actually Political risk and Business interruption Insurance is very wide in its Policy wording and I see no where that it insists on International Arbitration. The coverage usually covers changing Political conditions that result in loss, Govt confiscation frustration, changes to the existing contracts and even business interruption- does this sound familiar?. I myself have also experience of claims under these types of Policies successfully.

As an observation I am just wondering if Barrick may have had a Political Risk Insurance for Usd300m? Could be that this is their first primary limit? Apart from the registration of a new Company outside of the Uk, what with protection required for UK Shareholders and the fact the holding Company may have a Political risk Insurance there will also be many other reasons why the discussions and negotiations need to take their time to protect the owners and shareholders interests, and it will be in Acacias interest to do so, This is the legal requirement for the LSE and in this Country. .

Denby I may be wrong but I felt Acacia was a UK Company and subject to UK rules and so are you saying that the Tanz. Govt are changing our Tax system which allows for Investment as foreign expenses, etc.etc. perhaps as the Tanz govt want more control that is why they want a new Comp. set up, but also perhaps Acacia will not be able to agree to all of the proposals as they in turn now also have deals going on with other Countries where they are exploring-to be honest where they have some very interesting finds! Lets see as I find a casting net for a bigger catch could be an interesting situation which may develop?

EU announcement propped up sterling, and the Gold price fell, but Institute investor is showing a higher price after close with more big buys taking place. Denby69 ask me in a Month about the price, failing that in 2018 when the composites are released and as said in the last statement from Acacia when cash is being generated.

Acacia have just announced Black Rock have increased their share from 4.88% to 6.32% which underlines my last comment below. The last time they did this we have a short recovery in the stock, so lets see what happens perhaps like last time they can see the Wood from the Trees!

At this price the Company looks very good value and the price has stabilised as those with a nervous disposition have already sold out. They are so weak they are hoping it will go down further before they come back in, but most will miss the sudden jump when it occurs. This Company now has support from Tanzania, its own share holders (including Barrick) -who all want it to do well. Now is just a matter dotting the I's and crossing the T's. The Barrick chairman referred to new projects which he can see will offset the 16%. The 50% profits mean not only that the Tanaznian Govt will want Acacia to do well (as it has a mutual interest) it will also mean lower Taxes too so the loss is not 50% as the doom mongers are suggesting. Everyone forgets that Acacia are also exploring in other Countries too and the future to me therefore looks bright. The big fund Managers also have recently increased their stakes which tells me something. My only hope is we can have a full agreement very soon as this share remains my big hope for 2018!

Share price before ban on composites �5.33, now after ban �1.97. If the small holders double their investment of �400 as an example to recoup their losses what are the big fund Managers going to do to recoup their investment? The market works on anticipation hence todays rise.which appears to be the small traders. Q.If Draghi extends another Euro600m boind buying program what will happen to the Gold price? Interesting that today this is already increasing.I will just wait.as this share recovers. As I said earlier this could be the share of 2018 unless it has already recovered by then! .

Acacia mines in Tansania, and explores in two or three other Countries where big solid and good quality discoveries have been made. Some here need to read the recent result updates and when reading between the lines clarity is being sought for mining these new discoveries. At the same time Barrick have already commented on working together in Tansania with the Govt with new opportunities far beyond what we have here. This Company is hardly going to fail when taking this into account it is not just a mining Company but has future long term Exploration opportunities too. A v/good shorter and longer term buy. Just be patient, I do not understand why people invest for no profit at all. Suggest spreading your risks as some will rise and some will fall and if you pick the right ones in time you will be far better off. Then you can sell the profitable ones if you need cash! . .

If the big bys come in now or this afternoon this thing will take off! Even without a sanction!
