One other thing I would say to you with never invest in Africa. Is that I have done very well recently from non-mining Companies from Africa, such as "Old Mutual" and "Investec", Maybe it is time to cast the net a little bit further if you are worried or simply "Get out of Africa ?" if that is your choice. To be honest even good old English safe companies like "Capita" or "Carillion" have had their problems, and even "Dignity" which is surprising when I look at the number of new holes in our local grave yard dug recently. I was not laughing at you at all. I do not get pleasure from other peoples misfortunes. My feeling is this is a blip, and as I said before we need to wait for the statement from Barrick at H1. This is what Acacia told me two months ago. and also what they refer to in their latest statement. I had time to read the press presnetation today and would recommend it. They are working very hard behind the scenes in Countires other than Tansania and so will not be reliant on one in the future. Sometimes things can take time to sort themselves out. I can wait. Aggreko was down due tthe effect of stronger sterling vs dollar. I wondered why the sudden fall last year on a day like today and spoke to the Companies press office who advised me of this, We need sterling to fall against the dollar for the income to be more reflective as most of the income comes in USD, so a fall means they earn less. However very soon the coffers wil be bouyed by the Winter Olypmics which is a very big win for them and I seem to remember this could be as much as $30 to $40m (from memory). They may also have business contingency insurance for non payment or for contract frustration so my feeling is not to panic. In fact I am hoping for a positive press release soon!

This should help all shareholders both with new Gold and that in store. Lets hope we can have another announcement soon to put the political problems behind us, and then help to get the share price back up to �4 to �5 a share!

To be honest results look better then expected, with production working around the probs and finding prod.efficiencies. If / when the export ban is lifted this share will take off as expected. New leaders clearly understand the current needs of the business.

I stay well clear of Morrisons fuel. My misses filled up her Subaru Outback there and within a few miles we had to pay for a new Cat sensor, �400 all in - nice! I said to her never to go there again. One of my mates at Lloyd's had three friends all Tanker drivers working out of Corringham Refinery and they did all say the difference between BP.Shell.Texaco and the Supermarket is that the fuel they buy is definately different with less additives. They said Shell was the best, clsoely followed together by BP/Texaco and Jet, all the supermarkets didn't pay for the same amount of additive, so I always add it to be honest to whatever fuel I put in.If I am on a long journey say going to the Lake District in one of the nice cars I have I always fill with millers octane addive to raise the level by two points. They do a Petrol and diesel additive. I also always use Reddex but I never put Millers and Reddex in together, only staggered use. My old Subaru Imprezza that was my tuned station car would pink if I did not use higher octane so that moved me over to Tesco highest octane whih is higher than even BP an Shell. the tanker drivers have different taps for each tank contained within the Tanler for each pertol station - so don't assume as a BP lorry leaves Morrisons it has the same fuel as they use in their own Petrol station because it is not the same.

To be honest when I go I over and a special offer is on I take my two 5 gallon metal tanks with me too, and then get stopped from filling over my quota by the staff on the til. I even use it in my lawnmowers too and even add redex to that fuel. As redex is a fuel stabilizer it helps re-start the mowers after winter, and I have stripped down one mower before and found the cylinder head entirely clean on reddex. It also gives you a few horses in your car, go on u-tide to see it on test!

Bruce-agree with what you have said BUT if you drive a Subaru or Mitsubishi or AMG etc, you need high octane. Tesco supply 99 or 100 octane and then you add Redex or Millers, thats what I do. However I agree also you can do the same with BP Super and do the same. I used to run my Overfinch on Tesco highest octane and then add redex, it ran well. Reddex is the key, Millers adds a couple of octane levels for track days. If yoiu have a diesel just add diesel redex and it will be fine.

Tesco may start soon introducing power points for re-charging, who knows I was using Fuel as an example as being something the likes of Lidl and Aldi can't do easily? My point is Tesco has a broad range of advantages over the current growing smaler foreign Supermarkets, and if Brexit goes through, where will people go in favour of the Uk if Uk prices are to be cheaper than one funded from abroad which may be affected by price rises if import duties are chargeable? Notice the Tesco price coming back a little today.i.e. No crash is happening.

Jonjo, Opium knows me from Acacia, I am not a shorter, however like Opium said there are a wide number of reasons for Tesco to go up, including what I said earlier. If you think that the petrol price has been so low it didn;t really matter, once it comes back up in price people will think and go to Tesco or Sainsburys again. You cannot buy fuel by Amazon or Ocado either, so I see some changes here if the price of fuel starts coming back further or holds its position. Remember Tesco also has a Bank and so will been. on higher margins and interes toin monies held and taken at the till.

What also with Oil Price rises the sales in fuel for Tesco who offer cheaper fuel at their store filling stations will also increase, and more people are likely to visit their cheaper fuel stations or visit in store for fuel vouchers. Perhaps as the fuel prices has been cheaper until late this has helped ALDI & LIDL - however with rising fuel costs this may in fact drive customers back to Tesco? I have not seen too many ALDI or LIDL petrol stations? Lets see in time if my grey matter in time is correct?.

Carrington, I don't need a crystal ball either, inflation will actually increase inline with energy costs and other input costs as we have seen today, and the pound will become less competitive unless the Govt. does something special soon, or the B.O.E will need to raise rates to steady the Pound. As Companies and financial services move staff to Europe demand will become less in some sectors but other sectors will become unproductive and we could reach full employment whereby again inflation will increase. All points to rising Retail sales prices for Tesco. Infact they can only benefit unless demand reduces but they should gain further investment on sales and their bank products. Where'as I agree with Mr Farage that we as the UK need to get tougher on Europe I can see the Booker deal in doubt unless the Tesco share price comes back as less is now being offered with a reduced price tonight. The booker deal is a lot lessattractive to Booker. Hopefully we will spring back tomorrow if next week, as I actually increased my stock, time will tell but I hope for a quick bounce if not a bounce back within two weeks.

Just wondering what do Mangement do next. The statement appeared to read well to me, compared to its peers, and it needs the share price to be higher to be attractive to Bookers shareholders if offering shares as an exchange and so the price being offered has now gone down and the deal is less attractive. They need the price back up quick. If I was them I would start a buy back at this price, as they know the Company is valued cheap! So does Amzaon and anyone else wanting a supermarket in Europe?

Surprised by dip in price early doors and I would feel institutional investors will like the results over their peers once studied. I can see this train is back on track, and is now through the red signals already! Nice cheap buy now too at this price based on peers over last few weeks.
