Member Info for Supercharger

I could never buy Marstons in our local supermarket's down in the soft south, but always could buy Green King. However it recent times Marston and Bankes is available (although it sells out fast) and I am happy, with a great beer, just like Green King offer. I wish Marstons would offer a cardboard box of multi beers however like Green King offers, as what with them now being the Uk's biggest brewer, the variety of the Brews makes sense for them to do so. I feel the new Chairman may see this opportunity as he appears to add a lot of commercial,and marketing experience. I think a very good appointment and a very tidy Cv. I am pleased but not surprised by the sudden rise on Friday on the back of the World Cup Green King sales and I feel this is a very good investment which will rise over the next six months quite significantly.

Had to laugh tonight when reading Bloomberg that the trade surplus with the USA has reached a record high in August, it seems Trump cannot derail the Chinese machine that marches on. No doubt this means the recent falling commodity prices has been a mistake as demand must be still there, and in fact will help the developing Countries to manufacture at even cheaper raw material costs that could dilute any tariffs Trump has imposed which appear to have no effect at all.
I will sleep easier tonight.. .

Look interesting and unexpected to me what with Smelter royalties earn a few million. I think to me this shows the depth of the Companies workings and infrastructure. .

Agree 02 lets have some up date from Acacia, something must have been going on surely,. In the meantime the Germans are trying to help with a Brexit deal and Sterling is rising, this might helps turnaround the commodities -we need a rise in Gold/Silver prices.

Maybe soon what with another Govt. initiative and even closer ties with the Govt of Tans, the containers can be released for sale!

Hi BB yes I also feel the strong dollar helps AGK whilst we await ACA's return. I see Stock Abc found an interesting article for Aca, good news hopefully over there too very soon.

"Stock" the Article you have found is a printed fact,which means far more than anyone's own thoughts. It is also interesting to see that this share always appears to gain support at this level and gently rises without any sudden collapses and so I am quite prepared to wait. I also agree with Teresa May in her sentiment that equally applies here in that a no deal is better than a bad deal. Acacia in the mean time now generating cash and so no panic here chaps, I can see soon either share buy backs of divis returning to shore up the share price if nothing does happen soon. .

Thanks Stock for the link-this is very positive, I am wondering if it was hoped the deal would get through before KD left and so perhaps that is why the announcement was delayed. It sounds as if something is going to now happen positively very soon. Once the news breaks the shorters will have to buy back quick or they could lose big time.

She is very well qualified on paper and in World Banking circles and I was told by Acacia that in KD leaving it will not have any affect on the deal negotiation, as he was not involved. However she being from a Banking background will want to set timescales even though Barrick do not, and so I can see at least some action. Perhaps not having such a close relationship with Barrick (unlike KD) who served on both Companies might actually help Acacia shareholders interests. I do wonder however if KD put a proposal to Aca hence the last minute announcement from Aca.

KD Announcement from Acacia just released he s leaving regrettably but the interim Chairman Rachel English is very experienced in accountancy ex PWC, and in World Banking I feel she will not be afraid of bringing the Tans Govt to task if needs be.

Fed didn't surprise anyone today so dollar has not risen and the Gold/Silver prices are up. This will help in the Long run the share price as we needed to see a recovery.

Hi Stock I reckon rather something is going on that they cannot tell us? ie.. I think things have got to a very sensitive stage a few days before KD leaves Barrick. At lest we know that with no announcement he must be staying on as otherwise I am sure Stock market rules are broken.
Interesting price rise today despite the sells? I wonder what is going on?

Am sure the political climate we live in will help Gold and Oil prices for that matter. It looks as if things are hotting up!

Frank- Anglo have a smelter and it did not do them any good but I have a feeling what with so much being held at the ports in composites it would help Acacia to make use of it. I also see a joint action with as many on board as possible will help an International Arbitration which the Tanzanian Govt will not want.

I see reason for KD staying on at Aca and one is to bring Anglo and Aca closer together and /or offer a sum to take them over. It sounds like the offer will be less than it could have been if the shorters had not been involved but at least if something does come in they will all get burned!.

Perhaps this is the link. Anglo already now filed for Arbitration with Tans govt, perhaps Aca will join the party/action?

I see Trump politically trying to influence the Fed into hold rate rises and this will help Gold. Russia and China and Japan have been big Gold buyers for some time. All of whom are not stupid people. The Gold Silver price will come back. For the shorters I see them carrying on until we approach the crunch end of Month time and we will then see why Kelvin D has not resigned.
I agree with you BB that Acacia should consider a share buy back at these prices. The shorters will need to buy back at some time and generally do so each Month?? Maybe one could work out from past history when they are likely to do so and get in front of them to ride the wave!!! I see my AGK got a nice boost from HSBC Today!

Acacia: Numis reiterates buy with a target price of 250p.

Was the massive buy a share at or just after close a buy back or short closure? Or an investment for someone wealthy?
Certainly worth watching this one. Good results last week from HOC too.

The most interesting thing for me is what I have said for some time that Kelvin still keeps his post at Acacia despite reigning from Barrick and taking up a new position with Anglo.
I see this fact as very important as he could have easily have resigned by now and so there is a reason which he knows not to do so.
I am sure we will have some good news very soon. He could then walk away in the knowledge of providing Leadership to a positive conclusion which will help his CV. Or does he intend to take Aca with him to Anglo? I see no other reason for not already having left. .

Looks like they left at a good price and then came back in again, sooner or later they will come a cropper I am sure, but for the moment they appear to be working the price down. We must be patient, share price starting to look very cheap to me. At least we now know the game and sooner or later after another fall they will be buying again and the price will come back again.
