No queues here tomorrow or excess baggage or being directed to the wrong check out -looks like we should take off -Silver tonight already up to USD14.86 Plus, ha.ha.

I am being told that Gold was being sold off last week just to fund the Repo market and have been advised to hold tight as it will rise again very soon. I do not intend to go aware else unless anyone knows the name of the manufacturers of respirators in the UK.

Do they have a private Jet or a special silver spoon, only every Country seems to be shutting their borders at this rate. I understand even Germany have just closed theirs with Austria, Switzerland and France. I think the sale of Toblerones will fall now too, as least we have our Yorkies, unless they have been sold too!!
Looks like the Europeans are joining us with a Brexit, or do they call it a Corexit.

I know Jerome Powell always refers to the repo market and so I now know why. Perhaps he will have to lower the Fed rate the markets are apparently pricing in a 100 point basis cut? Which means they will have virtually no rate of interest at all. Which usually helps the precious metals doesn't it too.

However have a dream about precious metals not able to make to market and restrictions in travel and we may in time see our precious metal miners come back to form quicker than many expect. Otherwise we may not have to dream about a Fed rate cut as Mr Trump is already starting his ramp up for Mr Powell to do the right thing next week.
I will not lose any sleep over all of this, ha.ha. ATB.

How is Silver transported? I would suggest in the safe hold of Aircraft? If less are flying what will happen to supply? Perhaps in time as the war against the virus starts its cross border restriction, less Silver and other precious metals will be available on the market? This could actually become the opposite to over supply as is the situation in the Crude Oil Market? Perhaps the lock down will cause instead of an OPEC Failure it will cause by fortune a Silvpec? An interesting alternative thinking discussion point? In time in my opinion I have a feeling stocks will fall further but Precious metals miners might rise if rated on commodity prices as I see demand increasing and supply reducing?

As a different opinion and an alternative view what about this :-
I.E. If all the borders in the World are being shut and as Airlines are restricted from Flying perhaps the export of Gold will become restricted and this will mean less availability on the market for sale and therefore the price will rise. It is not as if suddenly like Oil the market will become flooded with cheap Gold, as Gold is not transported in Tankers, perhaps it is more likely transported in the safe hold of Aircraft??? Those same aircraft that cannot fly??? This start of the virus fight is only just beginning in my opinion. As time goes on I am sure the price will rise with less supply of new Gold? Or the miners could themselves restricting the export to drive back up the price? Interesting different angle for you all to discuss? IMHO all is not lost for Gold in fact far from it. Those that sold off to buy Equities might be back soon when the Stock markets fall again? There will be stock shorters as well as Gold shorters, but neither can control wholesale supply!!

What a wonderful opportunity for the Centamin board to buy in with their additional spare cash. The release of funds from Central banks has now doubt caused a sale of Gold to raise funds in exchange for printing the notes. However the market seems to forget as with any Virus this thing will be gone quicker than it arrives and no doubt the injection of funds will be taken back out of the system when we have our friend "inflation come to the party". So as Mr Bond has said I will wait and take the divis to pay a few bills and we will be back!! In fact we could be back far sooner if Mr Powell cuts as the market is telling him to do. This is what my Pension provider Prudential tell me is a blip -thats all.

Fund Managers are saying without a further cut in the Fed rate they cannot work on their modelling. Many have always priced in the Fed will take rates to Zero. They appear however to be taking their time and just pumping additional money in to the economy rather than reducing its price. Sooner or later the rates will have to be cut imho. However can the market wait for the scheduled Fed meeting of net week? Mr Powell has been very quiet? I thought the Fed was to be transparent? Maybe the BOD for Centamin should start using its vast cash reserves to buy back shares to protect itself against a takeover from one of the big fish?

Gold has outrun the S&P500 for the past 20 yrs and I do not see this changing overnight on that experience. The Fed is meeting next week I understand I was hoping they would make another announcement of a cut today as a more urgent measure.
The only other advantage we have is with the B.O.E. cutting rates serling is currently falling against the Dollar and so in real terms Centamins earning have increased where we earn in Gold sales in USD.

What an opportunity to buy into this share at this low price, If Barrick or anyone else are interested we may in a few minutes see some action. Lets see -our price must be like a sweet in a shop window. Good luck those who held hard like I did.

Very interesting a Bloomberg intelligence expert just showed a chart showing how (well it must have been for the past 20 yrs) Gold has always followed just above the VIX, and has always outperformed the S&P 500, so he expects nothing to change and for us to rise just above the S&P500 level. As futures are now well up we should based on this past experience see Gold take off with the Market.

Just seen on TV we have the start of come cuts in rates. The Norwegians have just cut, others including the Fed expected to follow. Many now projecting the Fed might even take rates down to zero. We must be patient but soon must take off here.
All the EU- Euro Countries cannot control their own economies by changing their own R.O.E. as they are in the Euro, this will limit their abilities. This could end the EMU with pressure. We in the Uk are in an advantageous position. All the Germains can do is to borrow as their currency control is out of their hands limiting their competitiveness. Could the whole EU thing collapse?

Yesterday I saw one report that Silver coin sales had reached record levels as people were buying them as a safe haven. This will in the short term soon be reflected in more orders and the price of Silver will rise.
I can see the price of Silver and Gold holding out now on the markets and if the Fed was also to act in cutting rates the Gold / Silver price will fly. I am still holding out in expectation and can see the panic effect not lasting.

Yesterday it was announced record sales on Silver coin sales, being used as a safe haven. I am sure this will come to reflect in the market sale price very soon. Hochschild will benefit from this, as well as the trading with the USA. I saw nothing to say that they will not be trading with South American Countries!!.

NYSE ready and waiting I am sure to come in and grab some massive bargains of the weak who have sold off waiting for the bottom, and who will be too late getting back in (just like the Christmas sales!!). -Very clever you can see how they make their money!!
