Someone sold 3 shares?22 Mar 2020 15:44
Wow that's 3 more for us then, ha.ha!! I did see something like this mentioned on the Acacia web site years ago. I think we worked out, fund managers pay for a number of trades in advance if they commit to a certain number each quarter and so the rates are cheaper if they commit for all of their trades i.e. not just for these 3? if that makes sense - so I suppose it a trader had to put more though to keep the numbers up but they did not want to sell or buy many of them the trade needs to go through anyway but the number of shares traded is kept to a minimum, and so at minimum cost or the free trades go through if the frequency of trades is kept up? If that makes any sense. i know HSBC charge me a low price for a number of trades and if I do not trade so many the cost per trade each qtr does increase, so it could makes some sense I suppose?
