As they buy on the dip does that mean the same 80% will come back tomorrow?
I see govt bonds and treasuries have already priced in a nil % rate -so lets see the Fed get it on - and the Gold price respond.

They are just copying their partner Barrick who did the same thing some time ago. They then also close head offices down and work remotely. A way of cutting costs. I would not think they would be inviting the CEY members to the board if they were they would retain their majority and reduce later after any new Company execs were voted on. I see it more likely if anyone was interested in CEY it will be Mark Bristow who will know them better than most. Having brought into Barrick, Randgold and Acacia in the past year (he knows the process of how to take Comps off the FTSE). They also have some similar interests as Centamin outside of Egypt (Burkina Faso for instance). I have done very well with Barrick and am expecting a very large divi soon too.

If you cannot produce at that price cap the well and wait. Or buy the other Companies oil and store it -they will then run out. However not all oil is the same grade and so I would need to see the quality of what I was buying. Generally this is one hell of a panic as most oil companies have contracts in place anyway. Some have hedged and some have Insurances against market fluctuation. I would cap my well and and wait or store what I produce. Sooner or later there will be something that triggers a surge in price. The Ruskeys are also very good chess players.

Cazy market with people selling this share. The Silver price is holding fast about the USD16.92oz level - still up 15% for the year!! Recent good results from South America and Hoc show we are doing well.

Looks a good opportunity here to me, I am not panicking.

No travel, no holidays, less flying, les driving, etc,etc. The price of oil would have fallen anyway. I am not complaining.

Think about whether there is anything else politically behind this? i.e. The Ruskeys and the Syrians and the Saudis and ors, and then we have the Yeman story and rebels there may be more to all of the breakdown than just oil - there always is. Next to China (who over the last year are the biggest buyers of Gold) the Rusky's have the largest holding, and so I would not bet against them. If either Country wanted to increase the value they could do so overnight. Analysts expect further falls before the gains, and the falls may be with us for sometime. I am holding fire here and in my other precious metals miners.

I should have kept that too what with all this lovely cheap oil!!! Fill your boots with good old big engined cars. I think if i was the Saudis I would have said to the Ruskis ok if you can produce the oil a whole lot cheaper we will stop producing and buy yours instead. But then whole am i? At the time when we are told to stay indoors and cannot tour Italy in our topless Ferraris there is so much cheap fuel out their to fill our boots! - typical.

We could be in a very good place here with USD seen as a safe haven and what with the crash the Fed will cut rates and the Gold miners will respond positively with higher Gold prices due to safe haven status. We could get double benefits. Cheaper production costs too with cheap oil.

Very good share to be in here. Fed said at the last cut they would monitor the markets and if necessary will cut again. We will always respond positively if they do. Cheaper fuel will also help reduce production costs. The market is coming around to the precious metal miners, I am sure many who have moved out of here into other shares will have now realized they have made a mistake. Gold now moving up.

We may see us (share price) come up in afternoon trading. I see the Fed and other G7 Countries having to cut rates further and provide stimulus. This will help the precious metals miners. Anyone who sell here and went into the dip did not realise the dip was just beginning. From my experience this share HOC always is a good buy in extreme times and a strong buy when compared to other shares in a crises. Good luck to those who are brave here like me.

Our time may have come Fed and G7 may cut rates to help businesses, Gold expected then to rise further.
Cheaper costs with cheaper diesel and oils too. I would put the solar power generating idea on hold and keep the cheap fuels. No panic here - hold your nerve. Those who knew best and came out of here earlier into other shares will regret it I am sure.

Actually looking further and if the Stock markets fall further the Fed will cut rates again as they said they would, and Gold/Silver will rise, also fund managers will seek safe havens with less interest from currencies which will put Gold/Silver in demand which again will lead to a shortage and again the precious metals rising again. Barrick Gold have already said they see a shortage in the next 10 years, but it could be in the next ten days!!
At the moment as we have been saying this is the best place to be and I have been doing very well here to be honest. The dollar is falling already against the yen overnight which is in anticipation of a rate cut. This also means that to the Japanese Gold has just got a whole lot cheaper when it is rated in USD imho. To be honest my Japanese client cannot buy enough as they do not get paid for cash held in their banks!!
