Hi Bob, - Well Yes when I have HSBC phone me at home to say "Do you wish to sell your Barrick Gold shares" and my other precious metals mining shares I know we should keep them!!!
The same afternoon the US FED cut their rate by 50 basis and Barrick went up the same afternoon by 6%. So I know this is definitely the right place to be. I regret my banking and other finance shares are doomed at the moment.

I am pretty sure with the scientists not able to find a cure for the Coronavirus soon Gold and what's more Silver will reach record highs in not only the coming days, but we will continue rising over the next few months. I cannot say the same for any other sector of the Market at the moment. This is the place to be when you compare how the other shares and financials are falling from the sky.

I should add I see Fresnillo in the same light as Centamin and Hochschild as when I look also at the Silver price this is if anything more up in real terms today at an increase of 1.60% to 17.49oz and so the likes of all of the Miners mentioned as showing real growth.
With no viral cure in sight and even if there was with Glaxo saying it will take another 18 months to market. I am simply moving more money into precious metals before many other Companies I am invested in issue profit warnings.

My strong buy honest opinion continues with the precious metal miners especially Centamin. Clearly those that sold off here early are now regretting it. I am really pleased with our progression and cannot see it letting up in the

The one year Gold futures rise now stands at an increase of over 29.69% - Nothing appears at the moment to stop this climb if we carry on with this charge we could hit even Dollar Gold all time highs.
No end to the virus outbreaks and even Glaxo said the other day any vaccine once found could only ever be rushed out with the correct licences after tests, which means distribution a year after being found at the earliest. I do not see the Gold charge ending overnight.

They will buy Gold in times of crises either for themselves or indeed for their clients particularly when there is no interest to be earned on deposit. Also in the traditional sense they will sell Gold to raise funds later to be able to print more money. So Gold at times of crises are the best Hedge there is. The problem with them just printing more money is they devalues their own currency introduce steep levels of inflation and then prices rise. Again Gold is the best hedge against inflation. So I actually quite like Central Banks as times such as this because they actually make me some money on my Gold miners. Happy days - thanks to you Bankers. Well and the Market and investors too. Just had a look at the days Gold chart and I quite like the look of a line upwards at 45 degrees!! Keep in going and we will soon be breaking new records.

Hoc usually responds to a crises and we have a big one here. I expect this share to rise significantly this afternoon and we should continue for some time yet with no end in sight for the viral world spread most other shares are a sell, this is a strong buy, IMO.

Expect further govt central bank rate cuts soon to speed up the increase to give real momentum as Govts seek precious metals safe havens.

Very strong buy for some time yet as you say and enjoy the ride. I am making a fortune -especially as you have said from a wide ranging precious metals portfolio. Can you believe I even had HSBC phone me yesterday or day before the Rate cut saying do you want to sell your Barrick shares. I said no why would I and by the afternoon they were up 6%. I expect them to rise a lot more. I will also gain in the CAD to USD rate as the Fed keeps cutting. and we need Boris to cut too to lower sterling and our Miners accounted in USD will really pay off. Good divis here too lets not forget. No divis for a while from the banks. In fact seen they will be charging to look after our money, id rather earn my own here!!!

It will have to go out to tender for all the miners Companies to Quote. The likes of Barrick will already be aware of Centamin and the Endeavour attempt to take over. Mark Bristow believes in working together and economies of scale. He will be well aware of Centamin having run Randgold on the FTSE and so I expect them to be there of there abouts. If they are successful in their bid which is highly likely taking into account their generous sharing of profits with Domestic Govts they will talk TO Centamin, either as a partnership in Egypt or they will simply buy us out. This is the real truth.
By the way my Barrick holdings are no well ahead and I am up significantly with my foreign profits from Canada so I would not write them off. I will see in my mind a lose of my Sentiment here, as this I would prefer us to stay on the FTSE, but at the moment my foreign miners are earning me very good money on growth. We may also have the right to a shar smelter if a Mining fed is set up by all of the Miners in Egypt to save costs further. I am sorry if others may have picked up on this before as I do not always have the time to read the long written notes of others.

Precious metals miners have to be the place to be at the moment in my opinion.
I expect us to rise later in share price with demand and Interest rates are expected to fall again as The Fed is expected to have another meeting soon shaving at least another QTR per cent, and maybe a half. Glad I am in here as well as my other precious metals miners. As the rest of the market falls if any fund manager needs to be in shares they will come in here for Growth. Even the BOE might even have to now follow soon what with FLYBE failing the start of things for other Companies too otherwise the UK Gov. will be accused of doing nothing to help businesses? I see the Gold and Silver place the place to be and Miners are the best bet in this World crises IMHO.
I see us only down slightly this morning as others fall big time on sentiment - BUT expect we will no doubt have a resurgence later as many Analysts expect rates to rise further. Talk of at least a qtr perhaps half a percent rise by the Fed very soon. I am certainly holding and topping up my precious metals shares at the expense of other shares.
