Goldman Sachs last week on bloomberg said if there is an extended run on Gold this could well lead to a shortage as the miners cannot meet demand -so prices will likely rise greater from here for all of the precious metals. I see both Gold and Silver rising now towards the USA open. Good place to be here in this share as well as the other precious metals miners. No vaccine in sight and Glaxo suspect this could take at least 18 months to get out with all the licenses in place , etc. So the problem will not go away quickly. I will not be selling this share at a profit and going into other shares that have fallen for some time yet. Now is far too soon.

Far Eastern markets have a habit of piling into the USD in a crises as well as the precious metals. I see the prices for early this morning are already on the move up and we should respond in the morning to get an early positive price run under way. IMHO. I see on 5/6/17 we were Gbp17.25 a share.- still a long way to go to return to those levels. - good luck everyone in here.

Goldman talking about a Gold shortage if demand keeps at this level being more than miners can produce. prices likely to fly soon they say. I am also keeping an eye on the USD currency play likely to help,us here too where the USD rally continues into a crise our increased earnings likely to push our price up quite quickly with Sterling Silver following the yellow metal upward.

Earnings for Centamin as with the other FTSE miners will rise in this climate.

Good place to be here at the moment with Worldwide Stock markets likely to seek and run for the safe havens.

Yes we are really doing well at the moment I have a feeling we still have more room to go up some more too. Tonight Barrick closed up another 3%, Hoc up over 6%, and even Centamin now moving up fast. I bought some Fres too.
I suppose we might as well make Hay whilst the sun shines.

What with China shutting shop - Hochschild is set to start exporting Rare Earths!!! I feel the place to be here. Fres have been there done it. Talk of Hoc in Mining news partnering a Canadian miner looking for Rare Earths too - so watch this space.
This price is rising for a reason. The others have hit a plateau -today, not with HOC.

Hi Mick -K - You may be right Goldman Sachs have just broadcast they see Gold soon up to USD1800 levels, I am sure we will respond quite quickly soon, just like my Hochschild Mining shares are doing. Perhaps we need another announcement on todays rising Gold prices where profits are increasing quite substantially. Hoc by the way have doubled their profits!!

Goldman Sachs is talking up precious metals saying over the next 10 years there is going to be a shortage. Add to that where Hochschild currently is and has been for the past ten years and we should keep moving up as fund managers add this stick to their pot for a growth campaign. I myself have bought these last year in the high £2.60's and see no reason why with the prices in commodities rising as they are that we should not continue towards the original £4-£6 a share level. Look at the 10 yr chart. I have actually been topping up.

If ones looks at a 6 mth chart this share price is still well down, if we look at the 10yr we should treble - I feel the recovery here has still a long way to run. I am holding still. Like many here most of my shares were bought earlier last year at over the £2 a share level so thank god we are now well on the road for a recovery.

When I said this I did not expect the profits to double -FANTASTIC RESULTS. -Debt now very low for a Company this size and Mr Hoc could clear this overnight if he wanted to. MORE reserves found in the ground too. At the moment in time this MUST be one of the shares to be in on the FTSE. I see the other Miners such as Centamin and even Barrick over the pound continuing to rise too. For me the Precious metals Miners are the place to be - Fill yer boots!!

I also hold Barrick as well as Centamin. Many others may do too who were fellow Acacia holders. I saw tonight that Barrick closed up and over 3 ys highs. So ong may the Gold price rally continue. Centamin should follow so we should expect a continued run here for a few days. Barrick have risen approx 8% in the last 2 days alone.
I can see tenders becoming attractive to Barrick and the Egypt govt. as they are very generous with their profit sharing which makes any presentation interesting in Canada for raising both the Egyptian Govt and CEY's profile.

Looks like we have just gone through and over 3 yr highs -lets hope we keep going!! Good place to be in Barrick and a good currency hedge as you said before.

Capita offer a very broad range of services. Teacher and other Civil service pension and Admin management. We have more teachers/Doctors and Nurses being employed with more money into NHS service (which they also help book/arrange.
The also run a Group of Underwriting Companies in the Lloyd's market with management and we have seen what Beazley have announced yesterday regarding income. So with more Govt money going in, and the market recovering (particularly) the UK Financials post Brexit where Capita are invest -I am surprised the share price is not flying.

I have just bought a shed load of them. I know Franky you were asking about Lloyd's syndicates - well their results are just about the best I have seen in 30 years.

This should keep going IMHO -just like Admiral Syndicate at Lloyd's did. They obviously are writing a selective prime book of business here and benefitting from the rest of the Lloyd's market rate increases whilst having a very efficient premium investment team for income as well as sound Reinsurance/protecting their own book. The business they are in if more of the Reinsurance type will not have Large claims appear for a good couple of years - so make the most of the premium income. Problems is the results are so good they like many other Lloyd's syndicates before them are really now liable for a take over . So we will have a run to a far higher level for a while yet in my opinion.

If Canada take our lead we will be rising up quite nicely. I am certainly glad I added myself yesterday - happy days. I still foresee us reaching the same levels as our peak last year (hopefully £1.60 soon in a few days).

If people cannot travel and have to stay at home they will use their phone - right? I cannot understand why we are not moving up as surely our usage will increase? I am going to top up here.
