Just imagine how potentially dire our situation may have been if we had not acquired La India. No Dupax, No Abra, a huge fund raise required to move the existing plant and acquire new production ready assets. I think that DB knew that the Philippines (the currently owned prospects) were risky so he went for more of the certainty that is Nicaragua, yes I know nothing is a sure thing but it certainly seems more so than our current revenue producing jurisdiction.

For now we are all about La India until he pulls a 'promised' Rabbit out of his hat.

Right now it is kind of an irrelevance in my view and been dumped by MTL (permanently or temporarily who knows), we are presently all about La India which I've though since it was acquired from CNR.

I'm confident we will see production in Q4 but do not think it will be meaningful, more part of a testing and ramp up process. Whilst that may seem disappointing it is not unexpected. We will however be 'production ready'.

....and that is a great point LMA, if the Treasury shares are sold at around current prices whilst theoretically dilutive (more shares to be counted) the funds produced would be beneficial and anything acquired with those funds would feel like it was less expensive due to price growth.

I wonder if he will tell us tomorrow La India is at 40% completed in his video update tomorrow, I guess it depends on when the previous update was actually written. We have to be doing around 8-9% pcm if we are to have early Q4 production.

Can't stress enough, for now, whatever Rabbit may or may not be pulled out of the hat in our now 'secondary jurisdiction' this Company in the short term is all about La India and Nicaragua. Even the revenue we are receiving from the Philippines is mostly being put to work in Nicaragua. We are about to make hay in a very sunny, very gold mining friendly country.

Predicting short term moves is a dangerous game. Better to just think about longer term trends, even the best traders get timing wrong, this is why I prefer investment to trading. I thought I was a legend years ago, until i got it wrong :-).

Everyone makes money in a rising market though, even the fools like me.

I agree Major, I don't think I'd want to consider a longer term Gold price at much above 50% of the current price which allows for a serious pull back.

Separately, don't you feel really sorry for Mark Child, he had it all in his hands and ten this price environment happens after the sale. :-)

Indeed Ridgeld, my point exactly, so let's keep the focus on what WILL produce revenue this year after Runruno rather than what MAY produce revenue in '27 or later.

This is the whole message here, those of us who sat with CNR for years know what a monster potential it has, I know DB resides in the Philippines and probably doesn't want to be based in Nicaragua but needs must and he played a blinder with La India. So should we not be talking about where ALL our revenue will come from later this year rather than where it will not be coming from.

As I thought, MTL is now all about La India, This is why DB acquired it, it is a dead cert, not speculative which Dupax and Abra presently remain. I know the supporters of our current production jurisdiction will be disappointed but Nicaragua it is for the immediate (2026/27) future!

Sorry, I wasn't being clear, what I mean was near term, you cannot add $500 to the cost of a Solar panel this year or $15,000 to the cost of a new tech BEV right now. Over time with inflation, sure it can, everything will go up but it has to go up in tandem.

Silver cannot go to $500/oz, think about it, if there is an oz in a Solar Panel or a Kilo in the new battery tech for Cars, it becomes such a high price it cannot be used. There are poorer alternatives of course but the cure for high prices will be high prices.

Interestingly, a 1kg Umicore Silver bar at Bullionbypost is around £2250 each but real world on eBay as much as £4k, so the paper price is becoming less relevant for both. Same can be said for various Gold coins.
