The massively expanded and upgraded plant in Kenya will be being fed by underground workings as well as open pit mining on the hill and the South Mineralised zone and wider exploration licence, supported by a 3 million oz plus reserve and churning out over 30,000 oz p/a (with capacity to increase).
The first open pit mine and a plant will have just been built at Nyakafuru supported by a 4 million oz + reserve and capable of producing well over 35,000 oz/pa.
There will be a late stage plan to develop an open pit mine at Simba which will utilise the neighbouring Nyakafuru plant and which is supported by over 2 million oz resource.
At least two further acquisitions will have drills whirring building up resource.
Through canny financing and utilisation of existing production at firm gold prices shareholder dilution has been kept to a minimum and shareholders look back and say I can’t believe I didn’t buy more at just over a penny.
