It might be worth noting that the kili licence was granted under the previous rules so is not subject to all of the provisions.

An open pit mine on the mining licence would both help increase production by providing good quality feed stock for the plant and also help reduce AISC and so increase profitability of operations and all for a very low initial cost.

If results are ok then the parent share price should stay steady; your 80p target therefore puts the GDR at over 50% discount.

Aren’t historical discounts nearer to 40% ? That would suggest a price about where we are now.

And surely the most exceptional difference here is that all the time the drill bits turn to build resource so the plant churns out gold. Self funding exploration. The only dilution will be linked to definitely value accretive acquisitions and production not discovery.

Fantastic spot on the drill rig; which I note is in the distance! I had assumed that was the diamond drill rig.

They said they had a surface lease for the area as well so if the gold is there near the surface then there doesn't seem much to stop them digging it up and carting in down the hill.

Might the use of the word equivalent suggest that they are selling unwashed coal at this stage just to get the ball rolling ? So sending a higher tonnage but unwashed.

Half year results should be issued at the end of the month. I’m rather hopeful but we will have to see. I find it hard to imagine the price dropping much further unless the results are poor (and no reason to think they will be).

Seems as likely to surge upwards on an idle Thursday afternoon for no apparent reason as it does on the back of a strong production update to me. Markets make no sense, especially at the moment.

Three interviews in a day seemed a bit unnecessary but not even the slightest hint in any that the production update won’t be great.

Confidence still oozing and multiple little teasers of things to come sprinkled in. What’s not to love here ?!

And, at the ludicrously low current market cap, with a producing mine, it seems such a low risk investment. Many/most exploration companies have very big upside potential, it’s the nature of the beast, but I can’t think of any others with such a good risk/reward balance.
