When he talked about what Robbie had ‘put on the table’ I took that to be referring to production for the last quarter. Sounded very positive.

I don’t think I expected someone to come in with such a wide remit as Mr Lombard has. He is taking over management of the mine, processing plant, drill rigs in Kenya AND the new Tanzanian projects.

I’m not saying this is in any way negative but I’d certainly like to hear an interview with this new key figure asap as he now seems vital to our continuing success.

On first reading it sounds like Robbie and Jason have bought in people to take over (at least in part) their day to day positions. To allow them time to focus on acquisitions and strategy or just to support their growing work load ?

Not the RNS we’ve been expect and I’m not yet sure quite what to make of it.

I didn’t realise they were allowed to export these new anti-viral generics as part of the UN production licence. Not clear how this will impact profits and I don’t think it really matters as long as they continue to use their world beating abilities to directly save lives and help some of the poorest countries survive and recover from Covid.

I agree that there is no clear success/failure line and it is all matter of degrees but the power of hitting the target should not be underestimated in my opinion (even if it really makes very little/any actual difference).

The 1000oz in December target seems to have become key now for confidence if nothing else and to achieve it, even if the overall number for the three months is lower than say 2,000oz, is what I am hoping for (aren't we all).

I also hope to see some evidence that the 1000oz, or close to it, is repeatable and of course the costs which have been incurred in meeting it.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I want to see the new 2022 t-shirts unveiled.

They only have one mining license as far as I’m aware so they must be digging on the hill surface now. Possibly in an all out attempt to meet the December production target. If so, that tells a sad tale about the underground mine production.

Is that also known as bulk sampling ?

Prior to recent Tanzanian purchases I’d expect it was very similar to the list shown on page 6 of the original prospectus (although Goldplat’s holding increased a touch as they took some additional consideration in shares).

There have been statements that certain holders are ‘locked in’ but in my opinion there has been a lack of detail and clarity on this point.

If you do obtain up to date figures I’d be grateful if you’d post them.

Certainly seems to be a swell of positivity; some decent production numbers (hopefully tomorrow morning) could trigger a decent rise.

In some interview, possibly Sunday Roast, someone suggested they might mint their own gold coins.

I’m unclear on the costs of this so it might be a non runner but, linked to our lovely zebra, what could be a better way to commemorate Richard Leakey than a coin of Kenyan gold made by a company with strong environmental credentials. And what better way for a company to promote those credentials.
