Silverfox333's post was a sobering reminder that a lot of people lose money investing on AIM. Some are naive, some ill informed, some are gamblers, some are well informed well researched, and well, just unlucky. We all invest for different reasons, to boost the pension, a nest egg for the grand-kids, a holiday, a rainy day fund, maybe altruistic reasons. I invest as a hobby, not massive amounts of money and any returns go to my children (to help with their mortgages!!!). What upsets me most on these boards (not so much on TRX) is the crowing of individuals who have allegedly made a fortune and the berating or belittling of those that have lost money or whose portfolio is struggling. There is something vulgar about this behaviour. Some people look at the first opportunity to gloat, point the finger, 'I told you so' - you get the picture. I get we are all grown-ups and nobody twisted our arms to get on here, and maybe you do need to be thick skinned, but these boards should be about supporting each other, sharing information, raising concerns and possible outcomes. How many people like Silverfoxx333 are there out there, the silent majority that suck it up and have to move on. Good luck and good health to these people and hopefully the can move on to bigger and better things.

So sorry to hear your bad experience Silverfox333. Some very good friends of mine lost a lot of money on SXX as did a lot of people I know in the North East of England. These people were intelligent, diligent investors but still lost money so it can happen to any of us. Great words from Sandhopper and I to wish you good luck for the future.

A lot will be buying at these prices to significantly lower their averages. Many longstanding shareholders maybe missed out on the placing yesterday. There will inevitably be a sell-off when the placing shares hit the market, but I trust a lot of them are in the hands of investors looking for a bigger return longer term. I cite XSG as an example of this. Following a very similar pattern. I hope today wasn't as painful as we maybe thought it would be. Stay safe and have a great Bank Holiday.

Just looked on FAQ on the PrimaryBid website. They send an email after TRX have announced completion of the placing. They will let you know your allocation, or, if over subscribed, how it will be scaled back.

Just got in and logged on...wow, not what I expected. I had convinced myself finance had been sewn up, especially with the healthcare deal. Applied for a small amount to reduce my average. Scant consolation to many who may be hurting now, but a recent placing in Xeros Technology (XSG) saw a huge bounce and put them in a much higher trading range.

B2HS2L - a very good shout! Short of the agreement being on the basis of a 'gentleman's agreement' and a hearty handshake, I think it would constitute an RNS. Who knows what financial machinations are going on, but I am extremely confident something is in the mix that will move the company forward.

Had EUA on my watchlist for a while littlebricks but went with a bigger investment in TRX and a couple of others. Frustrating when you can't do anything. Many years ago I got burned with BMR - I think they are still suspended. Hope you get a favourable resolution.

Maybe I have got this the wrong way around. I had advocated that 'a finance deal' was in place prior to the major healthcare company coming on board and would have been picked up on their due diligence. How about a contra-argument that the major healthcare company coming on board gave TRX leverage to acquire the necessary funding, and the deal was subject to this funding being approved. Oh dear...getting giddy now, stop overthinking things Stu, get up to the allotment and talk to you rhubarb. Stay safe all.

Thanks Chester. I noted it was targeting Innovate U.K's existing customers, but also looking beyond that. So a £5M loan/grant and £5M from a 'friendly healthcare company' as a cash match and it could be interesting. Pure speculation and conjecture on my part but I do enjoy looking at scenarios (but I do avoid trying to overthink them!!!).

I have made reference to Govt funding but I am not aware of anything from the U.K. Govt. Has this been announced and I have missed it? I am sure I read it had been applied for and would have thought that an announcement would have been made by now.

B2HS2L you might have a point regarding future investment. I wonder if any such investment now would have implications for the Govt money the company is receiving. Certainly the U.S Govt has stipulated what the money can be used for but I wonder if outside investment during this period may affect it. I can't see any such caveat in any of the RNS's so maybe it is not an issue. I am sure TRX is on a few larger company's radars.
