In business I found during the procurement process a financial healthcheck was undertaken. This has differing levels depending on the size/value of the contract. I can only suggest that a degree of scrutiny was undertaken by the Healthcare company (not pharmaceutical, my error) in to TRX finances and their ability to meet the contract. Either that or some fairly draconian penalty clauses were written in to the contract!!

I'm with sharesaplenty on this, and posted at the time, that a top ten pharmaceutical would have done it's due diligence before entering in to this agreement. I am sceptical if the due diligence had identified that the funding was going to be via a placement, that it would actually have gone ahead. A placement has significant risks and I doubt a big deal would go ahead with that potential in the background. I strongly believe a finance deal has been struck but is not being called on yet as a result of the American Govt money and possible furlough money from the British Govt extending the cash runway until August, possibly longer. As Sinden888 rightly points out (and thank you for the compliment), the XSG placement went very well and did not result in a mass sell off. I suspect the shares were picked up by the big institutions and serious investors. I still hold there. If, and for me it is a big if, we do have a placement here, it would not be the end of the world. In the context of the current share price it would be a blip - our portfolio is phenomenal and this share is massively due a re-rate. I keep adding here when I can and don't pay too much attention to the re-trace following the last RNS or the day to day fluctuations. Give us the finance deal and then watch us go. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Congratulations to all concerned.

The tie in with MWG not only benefits both on the tech', science and research front, but presumably on a networking front. Your customers are our customers so to speak. A shared business network can only help to spread the word.

Like many shares, MWG has had a few false dawns and wary investors, and those already commited with high averages are maybe still a bit twitchy. My motivation to invest was a combination of things but I felt MWG was on a new track, new business model, good appointment of GB, good partnerships (SKIN) and a new dynamic. Perception of a share is still very important and some still need convincing that this is on the up. Understand people trading this to get some money back but this has turned a corner and will reward the investor from these levels.

Nice move above 2p. Good to see. SKIN had a tick up also - nice to see them move in tandem.

I like to keep things simple Lignumvitae so tend to make use of whatever information is available to me, and any RNS is like gold. You are right, it is sometimes what is not said that is most interesting, but I now stop short of overthinking things. In the absence of information, some of the conspiracy theories are quite amazing. With regards to RNS releases, yes I probably am pedantic and have no problem with that. I tend to accentuate the positives but quite happy to address concerns and personally don't have a problem with investors with a negative view, it sometimes helps to focus the mind. Some long-termers have high averages and it would be great if they could eventually realise some profit. I genuinely believe what we have here could be huge. I like the working synergy with SKIN and the positivity and dynamism of the new management set-up. The re-vamped business model and improved communication are further pluses. I have a holding in SKIN also as they will both benefit from this partnership. Good luck this week and stay safe.

I didn't wish to sound aloof SS17 but I have seen Gerard Brandon politely replying to investors on various platforms giving them information that is readily available with minimal research. I applaud his patience. MWG is more than a Covid 19 play, albeit the pandemic has heightened awareness of what MWG and SKIN can offer. Before investing I was aware of the history of MWG and a bit less about SKIN. It seemed to be a company that could never get the big deal over the line (Gibralter anyone) and failed to capitalise on the tech' at its disposal. I read with interest comments by longstanding investors, some who are still posting and took on board what they had to say. The key RNS for me was the announcement of Gerard Brandon signing up, and then the links with SKIN. These were two massive positives. The recent placing, at the time. was a kicker but necessary. I don't dwell too much on legacy issues and look more at the here and now and the future. There are a few skeletons in the cupboard, depending how far back you go with the RNS's but nothing that would hold MWG back. My only issue is can we meet the impending demand - a nice position to be in. This for me is a very strong buy and you will do well here.

I would urge every investor, regardless of experience to read RNS's, and when they have read it, re-read it a couple of times until it sinks in. Most just skim through them looking for the 'juicy bits' or bits that reaffirm their own thoughts or position in the share. As with most things, the devil is in the detail and 9 times out of 10 I can find what I am looking for by going back through the RNS catalogue. The RNS is your friend!!

So the race has started. The carthorses have set off first. They are slow, have a lab based testing kit, but will get the job done. A few skittish fillies are loading up in the stalls, all jumping about, excitable about their test, but not really proven, so a bit of a gamble. Still in the parade ground is the thoroughbred. Still taking stock of the event, taking it all in,making sure everything is just right before it joins the fray. The government has put a few quid on the carthorses, their expenses money on the skittish fillies, and the Bank of England on the thoroughbred. Throwing that much money at a possible solution they have to be damn sure they are backing the right horse. My money is on ODX, the thoroughbred, still in the paddock but will win by more than a few lengths. Sit tight, don't panic, don't let the deramping bully boys upset or unnerve you, trust your research and enjoy the race, Stay safe everybody.

I agree RosieNas, I think the placing was a critical point - seems the available shares were snapped up by long (er) term investors . Any positive news now most welcome

Sorry TheOldBee - I was basically agreeing with you by saying there is nothing here that I don't like. "What's not to like". Probably could have worded it better. Sorry for the confusion - maybe that electric shock in 1969 playing pin the tail on the donkey did more harm that I realised!!

Stick the tail on the donkey. Alison Jones's birthday party, 1969, I stuck the pin in the light switch, didn't half get a shock. Her Dad saw where I was going and didn't stop me!!!!

What's not to like here TheOldBee. Once the money stops chasing the Covid19 silver bullet, and a degree of normality sets in, the market will look for new investments, that are shielded from the recession that is forecast. Our portfolio is very much in demand, whatever the economic climate. My portfolio has reflected this impending change and looking at post covid19 investments. A couple I am in, apart from TRX have a chequered history but what they have could be massive in world terms. This for me though, is the one for the long-term and it won't let me down.

OK so we have a top 10 unnamed pharmaceutical company working with us. Just throwing it out there, could their anonymity be helpful if they were stakebuilding in TRX. No great evidence of stakebuilding going on at the moment but we know about the Woodford/Link shares and they will end up somewhere. Extremely positive about TRX but like a little conspiracy to brighten the morning. Good luck and stay safe
