Saw this link on another board. Reminded me of Gerard's analogy of postgrads going down manholes to take samples and send them off for testing, only to get the results days later. Compared to what DeepVerge have now!!

I wont pretend to understand all the research/analytical jargon, but what I did glean from the presentation is that DeepVerge are singing from the same hymn sheet as EMHP. Not sure if Jazz was reading Gerard's script but what Jazz was talking about, is largely what DeepVerge is doing or intending to do. A canny question from the audience (I think it was from Muggins to be fair) prompted a knowing smile and an acknowledgement of DeepVerge and an enthusiastic ".we know about DeepVerge and are very interested". Please watch the video and make your own minds up but Gerard must be all over this. I was enthusiastic before, not sure what the next stage up is!!

They are very aware of DeepVerge. "Definitely definitely looking at it" said with a huge knowing smile on her face!!

Fair comment Dingodog1. I got my results a couple of weeks ago. Only ever used soap and water on my face with a bit of aftersun on holiday. Intrigued by the results and the recommendations. Not an extortionate cost to a modified morning and evening routine but obviously more costly than a bar of soap. Still going to give it a go though.

You can't sugar coat this but Colin King is going to get pelters on Thursday without positive news or a share price re-rate in the interim. Whether you agree that this is fair or not it is going to happen and the trolls will have a field day. Maybe a good time to re-visit your research notes and fully understand why you have invested here. It's going to be a bumpy ride, but for my part I'm holding strong.

I remember Gerard's reference to the MacDonald's business model/franchise arrangement. Anybody can have a restaurant but all consumables have to be purchased from MacDonalds, hence the recurring revenues. Sell or lease the equipment, the concept is sound.

Interesting take on things smeeno and you could well be right.

Whilst we wait for news on all fronts, I keep reminding myself of the potential for the deal with China Resources to manifest itself as a ‘spin off company’ that could be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Such a spin-out transaction could provide the opportunity to secure separate financial resources for this company, to enable accelerated development and growth.
A spin-out transaction would also allow Shareholders to benefit from both the value of the development assets and the standalone value of the core services business,(DeepVerge).
A distribution in Specie would reward existing shareholders in DeepVerge with pro-rata shares in the ‘spin–off’ company.
I experienced something akin to this with the Poolbeg spin-off from Open Orphan.
I am not convinced the market knew what to do about a company seemingly ‘offloading’ assets. That is not how I saw it, but the market reacted badly. There are, of course, other aspects that affected ORPH’s price which I don’t intend to elaborate on on this board.
Maybe it is this veiled threat of a spin off that has spooked a few. The market hates uncertainty.
Just a thought.

I don't know how credible the various twitter feeds are, but something has stirred the pot this morning. I suspect that FOMO will kick in this afternoon and the knowledge that Colin King will need some decent ammunition to fight off some bloodthirsty investors at the presentation next week. For my part, quietly confident that next week will be a good week for the long term holder. Lets not fall back in to the playground mentality of calling out rampers or de-rampers, but rather focus on speculative or actual news/research. The filter button is the investors best friend on this board.

He's a good mate of mine, I played football and cricket with him. Great bloke. I share all my research with him as he struggles with reading. Lives in the next village.
